Zhang Yuqi as Xu Kaixin

Initially, he appears to be a family man, but he is secretly having an affair with a woman named Hu Xiaojiao. He devises a manipulative scheme to trick his wife, Xu Kaixin, into a sham divorce, using the pretense of buying a house in a desirable school district for their children. Once the divorce is finalized, his true intentions come to light as he forces Xu Kaixin and their two children out of their home.
Wang Xi as Hu Xiaojiao
In the television series Double Happiness, Hu Xiaojiao is the best friend of the protagonist, Xu Kaixin.

You You is the younger sister of Mei Cheng's late wife. Having spent her life in the shadow of her sister's brilliance, she grapples with a deep-seated lack of confidence.
