Episode Summary
In this episode, Xiao Qiushui confirms the existence of another transmigrator who is altering the original plot. He sends a cryptic message to Li Chenzhou, who becomes intrigued by him. At the Emei Golden Summit, Xiao Qiushui learns he is a doppelgänger of Li Chenzhou and gets a clue about Yan Kuangtu's long-lost sister. The episode ends with eight powerful masters, both good and evil, transferring their life's energy to him during a chaotic battle.

Another Player in the Game
We start with Xiao Qiushui and Sancai looking through letters they found in Qu Hanshan's secret room. Xiao Qiushui notices something huge. The letters are written in simplified Chinese. He's only seen traditional characters since he got here. This is the proof he's been looking for. Someone else has transmigrated into this world. And they're actively changing the story.
To confirm it, he asks Sancai about the original book's plot. Sancai says Qu Hanshan was supposed to be a die-hard loyal general to Li Chenzhou. But in this reality, Qu Hanshan is secretly working with the Northern Wilderness. This confirms it. There's another player on the board, and they're not following the script.
A Message for the Puppet Master
Next, they head back to the Sword Mound. The Book of Forgetful Love that was carved on the stone coffin is gone. Someone completely scratched it off. Xiao Qiushui immediately suspects Liu Suifeng. Sancai thinks it's the big boss of the Power-wielding Gang, Li Chenzhou.This is the guy pulling all the strings from the shadows. Xiao Qiushui decides it's finally time to meet him.
So, he cooks up a plan. He tracks down Song Mingzhu, hits her with an acupoint strike, and gives her two letters. One is for Liu Suifeng, and the other is for Li Chenzhou. Inside, he just wrote a few lines of modern song lyrics. It's a test. Liu Suifeng gets the letter and has no idea what's going on. He just thinks Xiao Qiushui is up to his usual weird games.
Li Chenzhou also gets the letter. He doesn't get the lyrics either, but he senses that Xiao Qiushui is no ordinary person.Liu Suifeng reports that their problems are piling up. The Emei Sect is rallying other martial arts groups to attack the Power-wielding Gang.But Li Chenzhou is completely unfazed. He says this is perfect. He wanted to gather all the sects in one place anyway. He gives one final order. Don't hurt Xiao Qiushui. He might be useful to the gang later.
Secrets at the Summit
Xiao Qiushui is worried about the upcoming fight at the Emei Golden Summit.In the original story, this is where he's supposed to get power-ups from eight great masters and become the leader of the martial arts world.But now, he has no idea if that part of the plot has been changed. He can't go back to his own time yet. His friends are in danger, and he still needs to kill Li Chenzhou for what happened to his family.
Before leaving, he makes some arrangements. He tells Tie Xingyue and Qiu Nanshun to raid a few of the Power-wielding Gang's bases while they're distracted. He also tells his sister, Xiao Xueyu, to lay low. She tells him she's found her purpose. Saving people is just as important as fighting bad guys. He suggests she can use a vacant pharmacy nearby to practice medicine.
At the Golden Summit, Xiao Qiushui meets with Zhichen from the Emei Sect. Zhichen is stunned. Xiao Qiushui looks exactly like Li Chenzhou. This is a massive reveal. Zhichen explains that the Power-wielding Gang killed two of his friends, so he's ready to die to expose them.
Xiao Qiushui asks about the secrets of the Book of Forgetful Love. Zhichen says the Hero's Token is just a tool for fighting the Northern Wilderness; it holds no special secrets about the book.The only person who knows the truth is Yan Kuangtu, but he's a madman who is impossible to find.
Then, Xiao Qiushui shows him the Golden Swallow token from Old Madam Wu. Zhichen knows this story. Years ago, Yan Kuangtu's infant sister was kidnapped by the Jiang brothers. They wanted to trade her for the book. Zhichen once met the little girl and treated her for a serious illness but never saw her again. He does remember one thing. She had an apricot blossom birthmark on the back of her neck.
The Battle on the Cliff
The big fight finally kicks off. Liu Suifeng and Zhao Shirong arrive to represent the Power-wielding Gang. Everyone wants a piece of the action, especially the Book of Forgetful Love. The gang brought out their legendary East and West Swords. The Waterway Alliance brought foreign masters. Shaolin and Wudang sent their best.
The eight chosen masters begin their battle by dramatically falling down a cliff. In the middle of the chaos, Liu Suifeng just slips away, leaving Zhao Shirong to handle everyone.
Xiao Qiushui sees his father's scabbard, which belonged to Xiao Xilou, fall with the masters and follows it down.He finds it and sees a small "R" carved on it. It's the same mark he found in Qu Hanshan's secret room. He now has a solid clue about the other transmigrator.
The fight on the cliff is brutal. All eight masters are at their limit. The masters from Shaolin and Wudang decide they can't let evil win. They choose to transfer all their remaining power and life's work to Xiao Qiushui. Seeing this, the four masters on the other side refuse to be outdone. They do the exact same thing. Xiao Qiushui is suddenly getting a massive, and somewhat ridiculous, power-up from all eight of them.
