Six months have passed. Li Jinyu brings his younger brother, Li Zhuofeng, to live with him in Ningsui. Having grown up in a lavish villa, Li Zhuofeng struggles to accept their new, humble life and finds their grandmother to be overly strict. Li Jinyu comforts his brother, explaining that while their grandmother may have a sharp tongue, she has a heart of gold. This helps Li Zhuofeng gradually settle in.
Meanwhile, Ye Meng decides she wants a kitten, but Li Jinyu reluctantly agrees to go with her to a cattery, worried she'll shift all her affection to the new pet. Elsewhere, a complicated situation unfolds for Cheng Kairan. While training Chen Jiayu in boxing, he is unexpectedly called away for an arranged date.
