Spoiler Alert

Li Chenzhou's Last Stand

So, Li Chenzhou's health is clearly failing. Zhao Shirong keeps trying to get him to take his medicine. Liu Suifeng sees this and gets suspicious. He tells Song Mingzhu to keep a close watch on their leader.

Li Chenzhou later meets with Xiao Qiushui. He offers him the token for the Power-wielding Gang. He wants Xiao Qiushui to take over and rebuild the martial arts world. Xiao Qiushui is confused and asks him why.

The reason is a shocker. It turns out Li Chenzhou has to drink poisoned wine every time he meets with the emperor. He has been slowly poisoned for a long time and is now terminally ill. Song Mingzhu overhears this entire conversation. She immediately runs to tell Liu Suifeng, but she leaves out the part about the poison. It doesn't really matter, though. Liu Suifeng is sharp enough to guess the truth.

A Family Secret Comes to Light

Yan Kuangtu is still recovering at the clinic. A bunch of low-level fighters keep trying to sneak in. They are after his Oblivion Scripture. To deal with them, Yan Kuangtu and Xiao Xueyu lure the thugs out into the wilderness. Yan gets away easily, but Xiao Xueyu is hit by a poisoned dart and can't move.

After a while, Yan Kuangtu starts searching for her. Xiao Xueyu blows a whistle she always carries. The sound is strangely familiar to Yan, and a trinket he owns, the Golden Swallow, actually reacts to it. It leads him right to her.

He notices a birthmark on the back of her neck. That's when it all clicks. Xiao Xueyu is his long-lost younger sister, Yuan'er. They finally recognize each other after all these years. Xiao Qiushui is surprised but happy when he hears the news. Now that they are reunited, Xiao Xueyu insists that Yan Kuangtu must have the dangerous Soul-Piercing Nails removed from his body.

Trouble at the Tang Clan

Over at the Tang Clan, things are a total disaster. We learn that Tang Song killed Tang Yaoshun and the old madam. He is now controlling Tang Fang with a puppet needle.

Liu Suifeng and Song Mingzhu decide to infiltrate the Tang Clan's base. They cleverly avoid the main entrance, which is full of traps. Instead, they find their way to an underground prison. There, they find a "medicine man" who has been held captive for years. They ask him for a secret method to reconnect meridians. The man tells them the technique requires a life-for-a-life sacrifice and refuses to teach them.

So, Liu Suifeng starts a fight with the medicine man as a distraction. While they're fighting, Song Mingzhu finds the secret manual herself.

The Rescue

They then search for Tang Fang. Tang Qing tries to ambush them from behind, but Liu Suifeng spots her in time. Tang Song then appears and uses a special ring to force Tang Fang to attack Liu Suifeng. In the chaos, Song Mingzhu manages to snatch the ring from Tang Song's hand. They grab Tang Fang and make their escape.

The Aftermath

Liu Suifeng presents the secret manual to Li Chenzhou. Li tells him to forget it, saying the Medicine King has already given him a special pill.

The Medicine King also helps Xiao Qiushui remove the puppet needle from deep within Tang Fang's bone marrow. As soon as the needle is out, Tang Fang's memories come rushing back. She remembers seeing Tang Song murder her father and the old madam.

The Soul-Piercing Nails are also successfully removed from Yan Kuangtu's body. He's so relieved that he wants to go drinking with Xiao Qiushui but worries his newly found sister will scold him.

The episode closes with Liu Suifeng giving Song Mingzhu a secret prescription to fill. She arranges for the herbs to be delivered secretly through a back door while she carries common cold medicine through the front to avoid suspicion. She runs into the Blade King, who is wary of Liu Suifeng's motives during such a turbulent time. Song Mingzhu defends Liu, saying that people misunderstand him because they don't truly know him.
