Tang Fang agrees, but she has one condition. Xiao Qiushui has to promise to leave Tang Rou for good. He agrees. Then she pulls out a scary-looking set of tools. Xiao Qiushui is visibly terrified. It turns out this was just to mess with him. She uses her internal energy to force one of the darts out. But she leaves the second one inside him. She tells him she'll only remove the last one in a month, and only if he has actually left Tang Rou. This is some serious leverage.

Well, That Deal Fell Apart Fast

She uses her magnetic power to control the dart still inside him. It causes him immense pain. She then gives him a new task. He has to create a fake batch of Zui Huangquan wine for her.

The Big Twist. Feng Lang is Not Feng Lang

This is where things get really interesting. We get a major flashback that changes everything.

A Nasty Flashback

The man we know as Feng Lang is an imposter. His real name is Liu Suifeng, and he's the vice-chief of the Power-wielding Gang.He meets with his associate, Song Mingzhu. We learn that his gang, led by a woman named Zi Fenghuang, attacked the Changle Escort Agency to steal the Hero's Token. The attack went badly, and most of his people were killed.

Liu Suifeng showed up later and captured a family to get information on Old Madam Wu's location.During this, Zi Fenghuang tried to poison him, both with tea and a military pill she gave him. He didn't drink the tea, but he took the poisoned pill. As enemies closed in, he fled and hid in the Qunfang Tower. That's where he found and killed the real Feng Lang, taking his place. And Xiao Qiushui has no clue.

The Imposter's Plan

Liu Suifeng plans to stay by Xiao Qiushui's side. He heard Xiao Qiushui call himself "Fudai," or Lucky Bag, and wants to figure out what it means. His main goal is to get close to the Xiao family's Sword Tomb. He tells Song Mingzhu to keep his identity a secret.

An Unlikely Alliance Forms

Back in the present, Liu Suifeng (as Feng Lang) thanks Xiao Qiushui for saving him. He mentions he has a delivery to make to the Xiao family and suggests they travel together. Xiao Qiushui is thrilled and even promises his sister, Xiao Xueyu, will help with the lingering poison.

Then, Tang Fang storms in looking for her wine. Xiao Qiushui gives her the fake stuff he brewed. She immediately smells that it's wrong and smashes the bottle. Liu Suifeng notices a red string on her wrist. He has a flashback to his childhood, when a girl from the Tang clan named Tang Fang brought him food while he was imprisoned. He can't reveal who he is, though. He overhears that she needs to see someone named Yu Zhiliao. He gives her his jade pendant, telling her it will grant her an audience.

Tang Fang is doubtful but takes the offer. At Tang Rou's urging, she finally removes the second dart from Xiao Qiushui's body.

Ambition and Secrets at Home

With the dart situation handled, the group heads to the Xiao household.

A Dinner Full of Lies

Later, Sun Huishan hosts a big dinner for her husband's friends. She keeps looking at "Feng Lang," feeling that something is off about him. She asks him how he was poisoned by the Power-wielding Gang. Liu Suifeng spins a story. He says he was delivering a letter for his master when he witnessed the Changle Escort Agency being wiped out. When Xiao Qiushui asks who the letter was for, Liu Suifeng says it was for the Iron-Clad Divine Constable.
