Zhong Xueman is the junior apprentice of Xiao Beiming and a cool-headed, formidable swordswoman. Often seen with her hair in a high ponytail and a determined gaze, she is a sharp and resilient constable who holds fast to her principles.
Following Xiao Beiming's return to the capital after being framed and forced to flee three years prior, she chooses to place her trust in him. She fights by his side, risking her life to solve a series of bizarre and interconnected cases to protect the innocent and restore peace to the world.

Feng Qingzhuo is a skilled coroner and doctor who left his martial arts sect, the Valley of Ultimate Poisons, for a government post. Though he starts as something of a troublemaker, he matures quickly, and his professional expertise becomes crucial in providing key support to solve cases.

Tong Shuang is a constable from the Divine Capture Camp and serves as the fiercely loyal protector of Xiao Beiming. With a cheerful and outgoing personality, Tong Shuang is also a martial artist of exceptional skill. His remarkable agility has allowed him to turn the tide during critical moments of danger on numerous occasions. In addition to his combat abilities, he aids the protagonists' investigations by using his ancestral "Tiangong Pu," a manual of craftsmanship, to build ingenious contraptions.

Zhuge Kongyun is a brilliant detective from the Dark Detective Camp and the son of its chief.
With a high opinion of his own skills, he initially views Xiao Beiming as a rival. However, as they work together to solve cases, Zhuge Kongyun gradually comes to appreciate the strength of their team. Relying on his sharp intellect, he becomes instrumental in cracking their investigations, and what began as a rivalry blossoms into a friendship of mutual admiration with Xiao Beiming.
