A Tale of Sacrifice and New Beginnings in "To Get Master"

In a dramatic turn of events, Gu Yuan orchestrates his own demise to ensure Li Song'er can return to her world, Zuimeng City. Following a letter from Gu Yuan, Li Song'er arrives at a designated spot only to find no one there. Realizing the letter's address, "Li Gong Ye," is a clever rearrangement of her own name, she reads it and uncovers Gu Yuan's heartbreaking plan: to die according to the book's prophecy, thereby allowing her to go back home.

She rushes back to the Sun Moon Palace, but it's too late. Gu Yuan is already surrounded. He deliberately provokes Chu Meng Die by falsely confessing to the murders of Chu Wuyuan and Baili, aligning with Nan Wentian's accusations. After a brief clash leaves him at a disadvantage against Nan Wentian, Gu Yuan watches as the plot takes another twist. Chu Meng Die, who had previously received a storybook from Gu Yuan detailing these events, follows its script and kills Nan Wentian.

Confused, Chu Meng Die confronts Gu Yuan, who claims it was all a strategy to make them fight amongst themselves. Enraged, she is manipulated into fatally wounding him. With his dying breath, Gu Yuan expresses his faith in Chu Meng Die's ability to lead the martial arts world as the Wulin Alliance Leader. Li Song'er arrives just in time to witness Gu Yuan's death, leading to a bitter misunderstanding. She accuses Chu Meng Die of using her all along to harm Gu Yuan. As Gu Yuan dies, Li Song'er's form fades, and she vanishes.

Li Song'er awakens back in Zuimeng City. Heartbroken, she searches for Gu Yuan, but no one knows who he is. She is surprised to find two new servants who are identical to Liu Yingying and Han Yan. When she questions Baili about Gu Yuan, he is clueless but inadvertently says something that sends her rushing to a bookstall. There, she finds the sequel to the story, which reveals Gu Yuan's intentional sacrifice. Filled with guilt for misjudging Chu Meng Die, Li Song'er falls into a deep depression, constantly drawing portraits of Gu Yuan. Her mother, the Grand Princess, pained to see her daughter's suffering, has her drugged.

The Grand Princess then finds a man named Nan Muxiang, who looks exactly like Gu Yuan, and arranges for him to marry her daughter in exchange for a life of luxury. Nan Muxiang agrees, not for the wealth, but out of a desire to save a life. However, despite the identical appearance, his personality is nothing like Gu Yuan's.

Meanwhile, Baili, who is supposed to be in an arranged marriage with a Miss Lin, becomes fascinated by Chu Meng Die after reading her story. He loses all interest in his betrothed until he meets her and discovers she is the spitting image of Chu Meng Die. Sharing a mutual desire for adventure in the martial arts world, they elope together, leaving their arranged lives behind.
