Coroner's Diary: Episode 15 Spoilers
Realizing they've been lured away, Yan Chi and Bai Feng rush back to Baicao Garden. Meanwhile, Qin Wan and Yue Ning awaken in a freezing ice cellar. The place is a labyrinth, and as they search for an exit, they stumble upon a horrifying sight: jars filled with human organs and numerous bodies with their organs carved out.
Elsewhere, Sun Haoyue and Bai Feijue stand over a paralyzed Qin Xiang. Bai Feijue reveals his cruel truth: he only got close to her to harvest her organs for Bai Feiyan. Once they leave, Qin Wan and Yue Ning help the devastated Qin Xiang, and the three continue searching for a way out, but they accidentally trigger a trap and are forced to retreat.
Yan Chi arrives at Baicao Garden to find it deserted and immediately orders a search. The three women are soon cornered by Bai Feijue. Heartbroken by his betrayal, Qin Xiang confronts him. Seizing the moment, Qin Wan and Yue Ning secretly swap weapons. Qin Wan grabs Qin Xiang, pretending to hold her hostage. As Bai Feijue hesitates, not wanting his "organ donor" harmed, Yue Ning lunges forward and kills him.
The group eventually finds their way to Bai Feiyan's room. Qin Wan, a skilled coroner, notices the tell-tale signs of livor mortis on her body and realizes she has been dead for some time. Sun Haoyue confesses that he had tried to revive her with a heart transplant from a young girl, but the procedure failed. Now completely unhinged, he reveals he has sealed the room, intending for them all to die and be buried with Bai Feiyan. He triggers a mechanism, and a torrent of water floods the chamber, washing him and Bai Feiyan's body away. Qin Xiang is nearly swept away as well, but Qin Wan and Yue Ning manage to grab her. Yue Ning pulls Qin Xiang to safety, but Qin Wan, exhausted, loses her grip and falls into the raging water.
Just as she falls, Yan Chi smashes a hole into the room. Without a second's hesitation, he dives into the water after her, pressing his lips to hers to give her air. A skilled swimmer, Yan Chi brings the unconscious Qin Wan to shore. Remembering how she once saved a drowning person, he uses the same technique to force the water from her lungs until she finally wakes up.
Her first thought is for his injuries, but Yan Chi pulls her into a tight embrace, confessing his fear of losing her. He admits his feelings grew from admiration to love and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He then calls her by her real name, Shen Wan, revealing he knows her true identity and purpose in the capital. Moved to tears, Qin Wan listens as he leans in to kiss her, only for the moment to be awkwardly interrupted by Bai Feng, who has just managed to climb out of the ice.
Later, as she recovers, Yan Chi tenderly feeds her medicine. Qin Wan worries they should be more discreet, but Yan Chi declares his confession was heartfelt and that he is waiting for the day she clears her father's name to make her his official consort. She asks him to promise he will take no other wives or concubines, and he agrees, saying she is all he needs. They lean in for a kiss, only to be interrupted once again by the hapless Bai Feng, much to Yan Chi's extreme annoyance.
