Episode Summary
Shen Jing confronts Su Muxin about his affair, leading to him revealing he is actually Su Mufan. Meanwhile, the police raid the massage parlor, but Su Muxin escapes with help from his adoptive family and reunites with Qu Tong.

The Confrontation
A Million Bucks and a Threat
The episode kicks off with Shen Jing meeting Su Muxin. She's not playing around. She slaps down photos of him and Shi Yue together. Su Muxin tries to brush it off. He says his thing with Shi Yue is just for show and that he needs some personal space.
Shen Jing makes him an offer. She'll give him one million to divorce Qu Tong. Su Muxin is not having it. He's proud of what he's done with Zhuo'er Jewelry. He even says he has the company's shareholders on his side now.
The gloves come off completely. Su Muxin points out that Shen Jing isn't innocent either. He says she only arranged his marriage to Qu Tong because of his status back then. Shen Jing asks him why he won't just let Qu Tong go.
This is where it gets intense. Su Muxin's whole demeanor changes. He screams that he loves Qu Tong. He says he would die for her. According to him, the only way he leaves her is if one of them is dead. He feels like everything he has now is just fate paying him back. But Qu Tong still can't forget that other man. He admits the less she loves him, the more he wants to own her completely. Shen Jing looks genuinely terrified by his possessiveness. She warns him not to push people too far.
The Su Mufan Bombshell
This is the moment that changes everything. Su Muxin leans in close to Shen Jing. He tells her that he is Su Mufan.
The Cops Close In
A Family's Loyalty
The police are on the move. Zhou Mi takes his team to Lao Xue's blind massage parlor. He's looking for Su Muxin and Qu Tong. Xiao Ling's parents, Xue Zhong and Sun Qiaofang, say they don't know them. When an officer tries to go ask the neighbors, Sun Qiaofang physically blocks the door.
Xiao Ling sees what's happening. She immediately runs off to warn Su Muxin. With the police at his door, Xue Zhong finally cracks. He admits they found Su Muxin in a river. But he insists they don't know any Qu Tong.
Sun Qiaofang later tells the police their family's story. They found Su Muxin when he was barely alive. Chen Shuncai was the one who pulled him from the water. She explains how he slowly got used to being blind and even started to smile again. We also learn that Xiao Ling was an orphan from the village that Xue Zhong adopted. None of the kids are related to the couple by blood. They are a found family. Sun Qiaofang tells the police there are no bad people in her house. She says her children would never do anything wrong.
The Escape
Thanks to Xiao Ling's warning, the police arrive to an empty room. Chen Shuncai creates a diversion to draw the cops away. This gives Xiao Ling the chance to drive Su Muxin to safety. He tells her to take him to Qu Tong's old house. Qu Tong hears the sound of his cane outside. She opens the door and runs straight into his arms.
A Clever Interrogation
The police bring in Chen Shuncai for questioning. He follows Su Muxin's instructions perfectly. He's totally cooperative about anything the police could prove anyway. First, he asks if he broke the law by driving the car. The police say no. So he admits he drove where Su Muxin told him to go. He claims he doesn't know where Su Muxin is now.
Zhou Mi asks if Su Muxin has any other cars. Chen Shuncai uses a trick Su Muxin taught him. He asks Zhou Mi if it's illegal to know about a car but not say anything. Zhou Mi realizes Su Muxin coached him to question the police before answering. After being told it's his duty to cooperate, Chen Shuncai simply says he doesn't know about other cars. He finishes by saying Su Muxin is not a killer.
