Spoiler Alert

This episode throws us right into the chaos at Su Chengcheng's home. Lin Yuan and Gu Yu arrive first, finding Chengcheng's father dramatically sprawled on the sofa, feigning illness. It turns out, it's all a ruse by Chengcheng's parents to get her to come home. Su Qingli also arrives, initially worried about her father's "condition," but the parents quickly reveal the truth when they can't keep up the charade. They're desperate to know where Chengcheng is. Seeing no other option, Qingli brings out Tang Qi and Chengcheng, the latter hidden inside a mascot costume. Qingli is forced to reveal the whole "filter" situation to her parents.

Tang Qi removes the "Wa'er" mascot head, revealing...nothing. Chengcheng's parents are heartbroken, confronting the empty space where their daughter should be. Qingli explains that the filter has now even blocked Chengcheng's voice, leaving her to communicate through texts or writing.

Chengcheng, using a whiteboard, confesses to everyone about her past actions. She admits to her vanity and acknowledges that she used the filter to create false identities, ultimately leading to this "punishment." The scene shifts to flashbacks, showing how those around Chengcheng, in their own ways, had criticized her appearance. They all express their apologies to her.

Chengcheng moves back home. Lin Yuan and Qingli stay with her, offering support, and her parents cook a huge, comforting dinner for the three girls. That night, Chengcheng has a dream about having a son with the surname Tang, who reads an essay in class titled "My Mother." The next morning, she texts Tang Qi, asking if he'd be okay with having an invisible girlfriend. Tang Qi reassures her that he loves her no matter what. To prove it, he sets up a super romantic scene and proposes to Chengcheng.

Meanwhile, Lin Yuan brings Gu Yu to meet Chengcheng's parents. Gu Yu has also found a specialized lab that might be able to cut off the bracelet. In a classic dad move, Chengcheng's father cracks walnuts in front of Gu Yu, a subtle (or not-so-subtle) display of strength, and gives him a speech about how precious Lin Yuan is. Gu Yu, confused about how easily the father cracked the walnuts, tries it himself but fails miserably.

As the family eats dinner, the bracelet rings. A nervous Chengcheng answers. The caller asks if she likes the filter. Chengcheng, having realized the error of her ways, says she doesn't. They arrange a meeting. Tang Qi takes Chengcheng to the meeting spot, where they find the old woman who originally gave her the bracelet. Chengcheng is no longer invisible! The old woman offers the bracelet back, but Chengcheng refuses, wanting to live authentically. The old woman tells her to try taking the bracelet off, and this time, Chengcheng easily removes it and returns it.

Lin Yuan and Gu Yu plan to give Chengcheng a chameleon toy as a symbol of acceptance, no matter how she changes. Qingli finds Lin Yuan's sudden idea a bit much. Tang Qi brings Chengcheng back home. Everyone is eagerly waiting, hoping she's back to normal. Chengcheng still wears the mascot costume. At first, everyone is disappointed, thinking nothing has changed. But then, Chengcheng shouts "Mom and Dad!" Her voice is back! She takes off the costume head, revealing her true self to her overjoyed family.
