Wu Shuang reveals Chong Guang isn't the true Demon Lord and seeks Ye Yuan's son. Mo Xiao and Feng Lixue enjoy a fantasy life before being forced back to reality. Lu Jianchuan tries to hide his demonic poison. Chong Guang asserts his power, declaring Feng Lixue as his future Empress.

"Destiny and Saving" Episode 25: Love, Lies, and a Whole Lotta Trouble
Episode 25 throws some serious curveballs our way.
Wu Shuang's Bombshell:
The episode kicks off with Wu Shuang dropping a major truth bomb. She straight-up admits that she's on a mission to find the real heir, the true Demon Lord – Ye Yuan's son. According to her, Chong Guang is nothing but a usurper. She believes the final stone is with Mo Xiao, which explains why he can waltz through Tianmo Abyss and even snatch people from Shushan. The kicker? Chong Guang isn't killing Mo Xiao.
Wu Shuang is convinced Chong Guang knows where Ye Yuan's kid is, but he's not talking. She goes full-on desperate, even tearing at his clothes, but Chong Guang remains annoyingly calm. He tells her to be patient, that Mount Suyu isn't his ultimate goal, and orders Chang Ming to lock up Ji Xingluo. Cold.
Mo Xiao and Feng Lixue's Fantasy Getaway:
Meanwhile, Mo Xiao and Feng Lixue are living their best lives in a fabricated world, dressed as regular folks, enjoying some much-needed happiness. It's all sunshine and rainbows... for now.
A Little Help from (Drunken) Friends:
Back in reality, Murong Jing and Xie Lingyun are buttering up Shi Bujiu with booze so he'll play along with their deception. Shi Bujiu wraps Xie Lingyun up like a mummy to fake Mo Xiao's injuries. When Lu Jianchuan comes snooping, Shi Bujiu claims Mo Xiao is in bad shape and recovery is uncertain. He reluctantly lets Lu Jianchuan take a peek at "Mo Xiao," who looks suitably worse for wear. Lu Jianchuan, wanting to cover his own tracks, gives Shi Bujiu a Tiankui herb and asks how to get rid of the rootless flower poison. Shi Bujiu says it takes 49 days. Lu Jianchuan then asks about the demon poison, and Shi Bujiu reveals that it is incurable.
Lu Jianchuan hightails it out of there, trying to suppress his own demonic poison. He's desperate to recover before Yuan Beichen and Mo Xiao get better. Once Lu Jianchuan is gone, Shi Bujiu unwraps Xie Lingyun and peaces out, confident that Lu Jianchuan won't be back.
The Search Continues:
Chong Guang is still hunting for Feng Lixue, but she's vanished without a trace. He orders Chang Ming to keep looking.
Bittersweet Moments:
In their fantasy world, Feng Lixue's Bingqing Fu is acting up, causing her chest pain. Mo Xiao's communication token is buzzing, but they ignore it, savoring their time together. They drink and make heartfelt wishes for each other's future happiness. Feng Lixue gets emotional, saying these past few days have been the happiest of her life. She's never felt a sense of home until she met Mo Xiao. She tells him that wherever he is, that's home for her. She begs him to never forget this place, their home. Mo Xiao promises he won't.
The Illusion Shatters:
Just as Mo Xiao is about to promise Feng Lixue the home she desires, he gets dizzy. Turns out, Feng Lixue drugged the wine! She tells him it's time for them to return to reality and their responsibilities. Mo Xiao passes out as their world crumbles. Feng Lixue is heartbroken.
Back to Reality (and Trouble):
Mo Xiao is unconscious and calling out for Feng Lixue. Feng Lixue is back at Mount Suyu. Hualang can't wake Mo Xiao, so he flies off to get Xie Lingyun. Murong Jing is worried about Yuan Beichen's upcoming visit and wants to find Mo Xiao first. Xie Lingyun tells Zisu and the others about Mo Xiao's condition. Hualang arrives, and they all rush to find the unconscious Mo Xiao.
Zisu discovers Mo Xiao was just drugged. He questions Xie Lingyun about Mo Xiao's trip to Mount Suyu. Xie Lingyun admits it, but says they'll have to wait for Mo Xiao to wake up for the full story.
Jealousy and Power Plays:
Feng Lixue returns to Mount Suyu, where Chong Guang is putting on a show of affection with Zi Ying. Feng Lixue's indifference infuriates Chong Guang. He dismisses her to rest. Zi Ying tries to stir up trouble, urging Chong Guang to punish Feng Lixue for her betrayal. Instead, Chong Guang slaps Zi Ying and tells her to learn how to speak properly because Feng Lixue will soon be his Empress. Ouch.
