Plot Synopsis
"Bright Eyes" tells the story of Li Zhi'an (played by Jiang Zhenyu), the noble daughter of a general from NortheJin. Married to Zhu Huaichen, a hostageprince from SoutheLiang, while suffering from an eye ailment, her life is cut short by his betrayal, culminating in her tragic death on a city tower.
Miraculously granted a second chance, Li Zhi'an is reboon her wedding night, her vision fully restored. Fueled by a desire for vengeance, she makes a daring choice: to feign blindness. Using affection as bait, she remains in SoutheLiang, determined to uncover the intricate conspiracies that orchestrated her downfall in herprevious life.
She is not alone in herperilous quest. Zhu Huaijin (played by Wang Jiaxuan), aprince of SoutheLiang, also retains memories from apast life. Having been rebobefore Li Zhi'an, he has been secretlyprotecting her from the shadows, himself operating undercover within a dangerous web of intrigue.
With the knowledge of theirpast lives, Li Zhi'an and Zhu Huaijin join forces. Together, they navigate the treacherous waters of the imperial court and the unpredictable martial world (Jianghu). They become entangled in the escalating conflict between their two nations and a sinisterplot to usurpthe throne. Through their shared ordeal, they strive not only for justice and to rightpast wrongs but also find apath toprofound emotional redemption and a love that transcends the boundaries of life and death.
