The episode opens with the special forces team undergoing intense realistic training for an upcoming escort mission. During the simulation, Yi Nanwang succumbs to seasickness and vomits. This doesn't go unnoticed by Brigade Commander Wang, who immediately confronts team leader Wu Si. The commander expresses his severe disappointment, questioning how a Marine can be prone to seasickness, as it poses a significant risk to future operations. In a stern disciplinary action, he rips the armbands from both Yi Nanwang and Wu Si. Yi Nanwang is told he must overcome his weakness to earn his armband back, while Wu Si is held responsible for his subordinate's failure.
Meanwhile, Lan Yangyang returns to her parents' house. Though feeling a bit lonely and emotional as a military wife, she remains resilient. She joyfully surprises her mother with the news of her pregnancy, confirming her decision to have the baby. Her parents are thrilled and immediately begin preparing nutritious meals for her. Later, her mother accompanies her to the hospital for a prenatal check-up. Seeing other expectant mothers being doted on by their husbands makes Lan Yangyang feel a pang of sadness, but she bravely conceals her emotions.
In the Roman Islands, Tang Xin and her assistant, Ah Hai, are hitting a dead end. The company they are investigating remains shuttered, leading them to suspect it may have gone out of business. Frustrated, Tang Xin emails her informant for new leads. The informant replies with a crucial tip: a "big shot" will be staying at the luxurious Aston Hotel. This highly specific information makes Tang Xin suspicious about her informant's identity, as they seem to have access to inside knowledge. Acting on the new intelligence, she and Ah Hai check into the Aston Hotel.
To help Yi Nanwang, Wu Si devises a rigorous training plan. He first takes him to the highest point of the ship to conquer any fear of heights and then makes him spin repeatedly to overcome dizziness. The hard work pays off, and a thrilled Yi Nanwang finally conquers his seasickness, proudly regaining his armband. With their training complete, the special forces team is declared ready for their mission in the Gulf of Aden. As the escort fleet officially departs, Wu Si and his comrades think of their loved ones, Tang Xin and Lan Yangyang.
Unbeknownst to Tang Xin, Han Yuhang has been secretly following her. He is initially confused by her move to the incredibly expensive Aston Hotel but follows her there, managing to remain undetected. The plot thickens when Han Yuhang's own brother and father also check into the same hotel. The pieces of the puzzle click into place for Han Yuhang, who now understands Tang Xin's motive and begins to secretly monitor his brother's activities. Tang Xin also learns of their arrival, realizing that the important figures she has been waiting for have finally appeared. To gather intelligence, she and Ah Hai position themselves in the hotel lobby to covertly observe Han Yuhang's brother.
