In the latest installment, Tse Ting-wai's successful escape, made possible by Balong, doesn't sit well with Balong himself. Despite his gratitude, he harbors deep suspicion about Tse Ting-wai's conveniently timed appearance. Meanwhile, Ho Ho-fai takes over a school safety event for Tse Ting-wai, using the opportunity to preach a message of racial unity.
The story also touches upon Choi Cheuk-yan, who is relieved she decided to return to Hong Kong; her son has not only recovered from his illness but has also become much more cheerful. Elsewhere, a personal drama unfolds with Red Sister. She is aware that Kwan Wing is not her biological daughter. However, seeing that Kwan Wing is homeless and believing her to be good-natured at heart, she asks Chiu Shiu-tong to give the young woman a chance to turn her life around.
Balong, still wary, puts Tse Ting-wai to the test. He sends him on a mission with two others, their heads covered to prevent them from knowing the location. They arrive at a pier, where a container is filled with strange, mechanical-looking objects. Suspecting the cargo is illegal, Tse Ting-wai cleverly uses his own urine to mark the container as a tracker. Later, he overhears a conversation between Chow Hung and Balong, confirming they are planning to cooperate on a deal.
Unable to reach Tse Ting-wai, a worried Ho Ho-fai uses Tse's personal belongings and a police dog to track him, eventually locating the marked container. However, he decides to hold off on making a move, as the main target, Chow Hung, has yet to appear.
When the police seize Balong's smuggled guns, Chow Hung immediately warns him that there must be a mole in his crew. To root out the traitor, Chow Hung orchestrates a public brawl, forcing Tse Ting-wai and others into a street fight to create a major disturbance. Ho Ho-fai and the police arrive to break it up, and upon seeing Tse Ting-wai in the fray, Ho realizes it's Balong's doing. During the chaos, Tse Ting-wai is injured by the police while saving his comrade, Siva. This act of sacrifice finally earns him the unwavering trust of the gang.
Later, while nursing his injuries and avoiding a hospital to protect his cover, Tse Ting-wai faces new suspicion from Siva, who thought he heard someone shout Tse Ting-wai's real name during the escape. With some quick thinking, Tse Ting-wai manages to talk his way out of it. The ultimate test comes when Balong, having examined phone records, grows suspicious of a call made to Tse Ting-wai's alias, "Kieran." He demands Tse Ting-wai redial the number in front of everyone. Unbeknownst to him, Ho Ho-fai had anticipated this exact scenario. Borrowing Chiu Shiu-tong's phone card, he answers the call and masterfully impersonates a food delivery person, completely fooling Balong and securing Tse Ting-wai's cover once more.
