Spoiler Alert

The investigation into the trafficking ring intensifies as the police close in on a nightclub, while the desperate parents of a missing child are led into a potential trap.

Officers Deng Yan and Chang Rui interrogate a suspect named Baiban, trying to get him to confess to drugging a young woman, Zhou Min. Baiban proves to be cunning, dodging their questions with various excuses. Their plans change when Zhou Min voluntarily comes to the station to reveal what happened. She recounts how Baiban approached her on the street asking for directions, only to use the opportunity to drug and abduct her. She awoke in a small room where a man in a white coat, Zhao Liang, drugged her again before she was sent to a nightclub to be prostituted.

During a second interrogation, Baiban continues to lie, falsely claiming he and Zhou Min were simply a couple and that she reported him out of anger. He refuses to name his boss but admits to taking Zhou Min to the Platinum No. 1 Nightclub. Deng Yan and Chang Rui lead a raid on the bustling club.

Inside, a young woman named Zheng Weiwei is being held captive in a private room on the third floor, forced to entertain a client, Mr. Li, who beats her when she attempts to escape. Just then, the kidnappers' boss calls and orders them to move the abducted girls. Deng Yan, investigating the third floor, notices a guarded room. As she checks it out, she sees a group of men dragging a girl away. She tries to intervene but is quickly surrounded. Chang Rui arrives just in time to help her, but they are unable to stop the kidnappers. Deng Yan quickly calls her colleague, Yin Jiansheng, telling him to intercept the criminals in the underground garage.

Yin Jiansheng and his team successfully rescue the two abducted girls in the garage. During questioning, the girls reveal that another captive managed to escape on her own. They also confirm that Baiban and Zhao Liang were their kidnappers. Deng Yan decides their next move should be to find this escaped girl.

In a parallel storyline, Auntie Zhang holds a regular support meeting for parents of abducted children. Little Potato's parents, Lin Hao and Xin Xin, are in attendance. When Auntie Zhang encourages Xin Xin to share her story, she erupts in frustration, accusing the group of wasting time offering empty comfort instead of actively searching for their children before storming out.

The police team is divided on their next step. Deng Yan believes the child and women trafficking cases are connected and wants to interview a previous victim, Qiu Luoluo. However, Yin Jiansheng and Chang Rui disagree, insisting the priority is to find the recently escaped girl. Back at home, Xin Xin's family life is in turmoil. She overhears her aunt and mother-in-law suggesting she and Lin Hao have another child, which sends her into a rage. When her husband Lin Hao returns and defends his mother, Xin Xin's anger boils over.

Their situation takes a dramatic turn when Lin Hao receives a call from a man named Zhao Zhilong, who claims to be a volunteer. He says his cousin has seen their son, Little Potato, in a place called Lianxiang Town. He warns them not to involve the police. Despite the grandmother's suspicions, Xin Xin's desperation to find her son overrides her caution.

While Deng Yan and Chang Rui's search for the escaped girl in Pengcang Town yields no results, Xin Xin and Lin Hao travel to Lianxiang Town. There, they meet Zhao Zhilong's cousin, who gives them a list of places to search. After they split up, the cousin calls them, claiming he has found Little Potato and demanding a 200,000 yuan reward for the information.
