Episode Summary
Wang Yue's group escapes the city by taking a hostage. Wang Yue confronts Yang Qing, believing he betrayed her, and refuses to return the Sun and Moon Blades. During a fight with Lu Xuanxuan, Yang Qing is gravely injured while protecting Wang Yue, leading to an impromptu wedding. Meanwhile, Valley Master Lu defeats Feng Xingyun to become the new Alliance Leader and immediately declares war on the Sheng Yue Cult.

The Great Escape
A Messy Breakout
The episode kicks off with Yao Fu. She passed out from a curse and wakes up next to Yuan Yingxing. He is not happy. He's furious she was about to marry someone else and demands an explanation. Yao Fu says nothing. This just makes him angrier. He decides to lock her up permanently. To make things worse, she's already badly injured.
Elsewhere, Wang Yue has the Alliance Leader's Token. Feng Xingyun knows this and sends his Cloud Sect disciples to track her down. At the same time, Valley Master Lu has mastered a powerful new skill. He wants his daughter, Lu Xuanxuan, to get that token back. To throw everyone off their trail, Wang Yue and her group disguise themselves as Persian merchants. It's a solid plan.
Ling Yin and Ming Yang have their own mission. They find Fan Hao and pressure him into helping them. He doesn't want to get involved. They don't really give him a choice. Fan Hao successfully lures a man named Jiang Yan to a secluded spot. Ling Yin and Ming Yang show up and knock Jiang Yan out.
They use their new hostage to threaten Elder Shen. They demand he open the city gates. Elder Shen cares about his disciples' safety, so he gives in. Ling Yin and Ming Yang ride out of the city with Elder Shen's men right behind them. Once the coast is clear, the "Persian merchants" make a quick exit.
A Painful Reunion

Ling Yin sets a trap for Elder Shen and his pursuers. She uses a special drug to slow them down.
Yang Qing figures out where Wang Yue is hiding. He goes into her hotel alone to avoid a big fight. Wang Yue sees him and they finally get a moment alone. It does not go well.
Wang Yue now has both the Sun Blade and the Moon Blade. She used them to free all of her people. She believes Yang Qing betrayed her by marrying someone else. He tries to explain. He says Yao Fu used a hallucinatory spell on him. Wang Yue doesn't buy it. She knows his internal power is too strong. She thinks a normal spell shouldn't have worked on him.
She decides to keep the blades. She wants to teach Yang Qing a lesson for breaking her heart. She knocks him unconscious. Then she tells her disciples to flee through a secret passage. But she waits too long to leave herself. Cloud Sect disciples storm the building.
Ambush at Yin Mountain
Ling Yin and Ming Yang are still leading Elder Shen's group around Yin Mountain. They are trying to show him how regular people really feel about the Sheng Yue Cult.
Back at the hotel, Yang Qing wakes up. He fights off the Cloud Sect disciples and rescues Wang Yue. He gets her to safety, but she's still angry. She refuses to give him back the blades. Just then, Lu Xuanxuan arrives with her own fighters.
A battle breaks out. Yang Qing shields Wang Yue from a deadly hidden weapon. He gets hit and is seriously wounded. Lu Xuanxuan is about to overpower everyone. Elder Shen and his men show up at the last second. Elder Shen gets injured fighting Lu Xuanxuan, but she knows she can't win a prolonged fight. She retreats with her people.
Yang Qing's injury is bad. He might not survive. Wang Yue is desperate. She performs a makeshift wedding ceremony with him right there, under the moonlight.
A New Leader Rises
Valley Master Lu is thrilled. He has finally perfected his ultimate martial arts technique. He isn't even mad that Lu Xuanxuan failed to get the token. He sees an opportunity. The Cloud Sect publicly defended Wang Yue. He uses this to turn the other sects against them. He decides it's time to take over.
Wang Yue brings the wounded Yang Qing and the Cloud Sect disciples to the Sheng Yue Cult's headquarters.
Valley Master Lu gathers several major sects. He marches to the Cloud Sect's home base. He challenges Feng Xingyun for the title of Alliance Leader. He wins the duel, leaving Feng Xingyun badly injured.
With his new power, Valley Master Lu makes his first official announcement. He orders all sects to unite and destroy the Sheng Yue Cult.
