The episode kicks off with Wen Yi Jia, Wang Qi Xin, and Chen Li Xue having a chat. Yi Jia can tell something is very wrong. She looks right at them and says she knows Li Xue's father was in contact with Fang Xin right before the plane crash. Li Xue is stunned. Yi Jia then asks if her brother, Yu Ze, knows anything. That's when Li Xue realizes her brother has been acting shady lately.
To make things worse, Qi Xin mentions that the nurses at the hospital are gossiping. They keep giving her weird looks. The three of them slowly figure it out. There's a huge secret that everyone seems to know except them.
Fang Xin's Real Goal
We get confirmation on Fang Xin's plan. She got the contract signed, and she's thrilled. Her goal isn't to take over the Ming Lang group. It's to completely destroy it. Ke Yongcheng is furious when he finds this out. He realizes Fang Xin played him and is going to drain all his money in her quest for revenge. He calls her a total madwoman.

Chen Li Xue's Painful Realization
After the awful meeting with her parents, Chen Li Xue goes home feeling helpless. She starts counting the gold coins her late husband left for her. It finally hits her how much he protected her from all this family drama. She understands his love for her now, but it's too late. Wen Yi Jia finds her like this and comforts her.
Later, Wang Qi Cheng comes back and takes them to dinner. She admits she was wrong about her husband. She says she brought a wolf into the house but is glad she's finally woken up.
