Episode Summary
The team gets separated in a shifting tomb. Wu Xie is attacked by a "Sea Monkey" but manages to fend it off. He reunites with Pang Zi and Zhang Qiling, who escaped their own monster encounter by diving into an underwater passage. Zhang Qiling is poisoned but heals himself. The episode ends with the three of them discovering a new, deep pit with stairs leading down, and they descend into it.

The Shifting Tomb
Wu Xie's Solo Nightmare
The episode kicks off with Pang Zi looking for an oxygen tank. He's in a big hall with a pool of water in the middle. He peers in and sees seven bodies at the bottom. Zhang Qiling, ever so calm, tells him it's not bodies. It's just a monster with seven heads and seven hands. Nothing to see here.
Pang Zi wants to drain the pool to get a better look at a stone tablet down there. He heads off to find some jars to scoop out the water. Wu Xie stays behind and notices some weird carvings on a stone pillar. He looks up a second later and he's completely alone. The room has changed. He yells for Pang Zi but gets nothing back.
Then, the water in the pool starts to move. A gross, hairy, ape-like thing jumps out and starts chasing him. Wu Xie books it. He figures out the monster hates bright light, so he uses his flashlight to keep it back. After a terrifying chase, he manages to trap the creature outside the room he's in.
The Reunion
Just as he catches his breath, the pool in his new room starts making noise. Wu Xie is obviously not thrilled about this. He braces for another monster attack. But this time, Pang Zi and Zhang Qiling climb out of the water.
Wu Xie tells them about his run-in with the ape-creature. Zhang Qiling says it was probably a Sea Monkey and they need to find an exit fast. [1]
What Happened to the Others?
The Monster in the Pool
Pang Zi and Zhang Qiling then tell their side of the story. They managed to drain the water from their pool. At the bottom, they found a rotting monster. Its stomach was still moving, like something was alive inside.
Zhang Qiling leaned in for a closer look. A tiny hand shot out from the monster's belly and grabbed his arm. He screamed for Pang Zi to run.
The Escape
Pang Zi immediately jumped into a deep hole that was under the drained pool. Zhang Qiling jumped in right after him. They swam through a dark tunnel until they finally surfaced. That's how they ended up in the same room as Wu Xie.
The hand that grabbed Zhang Qiling was poisonous. His arm has a nasty-looking rotting wound. But, because he's apparently superhuman, Zhang Qiling just touches the wound with his other hand and it heals instantly.
The Next Level
The water in their current pool starts acting up again. The three of them get ready for a fight. But then the noise just stops. They look into the pool and the water is gone.
All that's left is a deep pit that goes down dozens of meters. There are stone steps leading to the bottom. Pang Zi cautiously starts walking down. Zhang Qiling, being himself, just jumps straight down into the darkness. Wu Xie decides to stick with Pang Zi and takes the stairs.
