Episode Summary

Zhou Tianna's Bitterness
The episode kicks off with Qiu Tian getting the green light to bring Shen Yang to the hospital. They're going to see Zhou Tianna. This confrontation was long overdue. Zhou Tianna immediately lays into Shen Yang. She says Shen Yang is exactly like her father, Dr. Shen. She claims they both have a habit of ditching her when things get tough.
Zhou Tianna tells Shen Yang to get lost. She doesn't want to see her again. But Shen Yang doesn't just take it. She pushes back. She says this whole mess is Zhou Tianna’s own fault. Zhou Tianna, of course, doesn't agree. She refuses to admit she did anything wrong.
A Small Olive Branch
Qiu Tian steps in and talks to Zhou Tianna alone. She sets the record straight. She tells Zhou Tianna that Shen Yang never planned to report her. Shen Yang was just trying to protect her from being used by other people. This seems to land. Before Qiu Tian leaves, Zhou Tianna asks her to pass a message to Shen Yang. She tells her the dumplings she made were really good.
Later, Qiu Tian and Shen Yang go for hotpot. The place is full of memories for Shen Yang and Zhou Tianna. Shen Yang says she'll still visit her aunt in the future, no matter what. Qiu Tian then gives her a little nudge. She tells her to bring dumplings next time she visits.
Sudden Tragedy
A Devastating Phone Call
Things take a hard left turn. While they're still eating, Qiu Tian’s mom calls. Her father collapsed. He was rushed into surgery. Qiu Tian races to the hospital. She's too late. Her father died during the operation.
The next morning, her colleague Ling Zhengrong shows up. He brings breakfast for Qiu Tian and her mother. He’s there to support them. It’s a quiet, somber scene.
An Unexpected Connection
We then learn something huge. The very last surgery Qiu Tian's father performed was on Zhang Lan's wife. He didn't tell Zhang Lan about it until after it was over. Now, the patient's care falls to Qiu Tian's mother, Lin Ying. She's the head of the obstetrics department.
Qiu Tian and her mom go to check on the patient. Qiu Tian sees her in the hospital room and is stunned. It's Zhang Lan's wife. She recognizes her. Zhang Lan himself is still busy. He has leave approved but needs to sort things out with the Repair Squad. He plans to come to the hospital closer to the due date.

An Emergency Delivery
That night, Qiu Tian, her mom, and Ling Zhengrong are at home. They're trying to have dinner together. Everyone is obviously heartbroken. The meal is cut short by a phone call. Lin Ying has to go. Zhang Lan's wife's water just broke. She needs surgery now.
All three of them rush back to the hospital. The surgery goes well. Zhang Lan's wife delivers a healthy baby boy. Back at the base, Zhang Lan's friends are thrilled for him. They all start brainstorming baby names.
The Big Reveal
The Chief of Staff calls Zhang Lan into his office. The news about Dr. Qiu Zhenhua dying in the line of duty is public now. Zhang Lan's wife, Wang Xinna, saw the story. She has been trying to find the doctor's family to thank them. She just couldn't track them down.
The Chief of Staff explains why. He tells Zhang Lan they intentionally kept the family's identity from him. They didn't want him to feel pressured or indebted. But Zhang Lan insists. He says this man saved his wife and child. He needs to thank them personally. So, the Chief of Staff tells him the truth. He tells him to go thank Qiu Tian. He also lets him know she's at the cemetery right now.

A Meaningful Name
Zhang Lan doesn't waste a second. He drives straight to the cemetery. He finds Qiu Tian there with her mother and Ling Zhengrong. He is overcome with gratitude.
On the drive back to the military base, Qiu Tian tries to comfort him. She tells him not to feel burdened. Her father was a doctor. He would have done the same for any patient. Zhang Lan then tells her he's chosen a name for his son. He's going to call him Zhang Nianhua. The name is a tribute. It means "to forever remember Dr. Hua."
The episode closes with Ling Zhengrong taking Qiu Tian's mother back to the hospital. He makes her a promise. He says he will always look after Qiu Tian. It's what her husband wanted to tell him before he died.
