Episode Summary
Tang Lici defeats Ghost Peony by transferring his own painful emotions, causing the villain to self-destruct. He then has a brief, emotional reunion with his mother, the Goddess, before destroying the corrupt Bronze Tree. At the Central Plains Sword Association, a power struggle begins between Xifang Tao and Zhong Chunjie for the title of Sword Master. Tang Lici's timely arrival prevents a conflict, but he learns that his friend Chi Yun has gone missing.

The Final Showdown with Ghost Peony
So, Tang Lici feels it in his gut. The Goddess is in serious trouble. He immediately turns back to save her. There's only one way to do it. He has to use the "Tianlun," a power that can literally reshape time. He doesn't hesitate for a second.
But this is where it all clicks into place. This was Ghost Peony's plan all along.
The Big Twist
Ghost Peony wanted Tang Lici's body. He needed a perfect vessel to contain him. The whole quest to restore Yique Yinyang was just a cover story. Ghost Peony's real goal was to capture Tang Lici. He spent all this time sharpening Tang Lici's will and emotions. He was basically forging the perfect container for himself.
Once Tang Lici was "ready," Ghost Peony lured him to the Wandering Plum Garden. He flooded the place with poison gas. The poison was meant to weaken Tang Lici right when he used his ultimate power. A pretty clever plan, you have to admit.
A Taste of His Own Medicine
Ghost Peony made one huge mistake, though. He completely underestimated Tang Lici. His internal energy is way stronger now. He has some serious healing abilities.
Tang Lici realizes Ghost Peony has been obsessed with getting human emotions. So he gives him exactly what he wants. He transfers a piece of his own feelings directly into Ghost Peony. We're talking about pure, unfiltered heartbreak and helplessness. Ghost Peony finally experiences it all firsthand. The pain is too much for him. He completely self-destructs in a wave of despair.
And just like that, Ghost Peony is gone.
A Family Reunion and a Final Goodbye
With the main villain out of the picture, Tang Lici finally gets a moment. He walks up to the Goddess.
Mother and Son
She looks at him with so much love in her eyes. It turns out the Goddess is his mother. She always loved her child. She touches his face and whispers that he looks exactly like she imagined he would. Tang Lici never dreamed he would get to see his mother again.
After they say their goodbyes, he has one last thing to do.
Tearing It All Down
Tang Lici destroys the entire Bronze Tree. Yique Yinyang used millions of innocent lives to build that thing. Tang Lici wants peace for the world. He has no use for a man-eating machine. He brings the whole structure crashing down.
Power Vacuums and New Problems
The Central Plains Sword Association hears the good news. Ghost Peony is dead. The Peony Pavilion's power is mostly destroyed. Everyone starts celebrating. But the problems aren't over.
Trouble at the Sword Association
Zhong Chunjie goes to see her master. She wants to apologize for hurting Tang Lici and for lying. Her master had criticized her for it before. But when she arrives, she finds out her master has been seriously ill for a long time.
At the same time, remnants of Fengliu Hall are still out there. Disciples from the Sword Association keep turning up dead after eating poison pills. To make things worse, Sword Master Shao is badly injured. The association needs a new leader.
A New Rivalry
Xifang Tao steps forward. She wants to be the next Sword Master. This causes a stir. You remember her. She used to work for Ghost Peony. Pu Zhu vouched for her, and she joined the association to help hunt down Fengliu Hall. But a lot of people don't think she has the right to lead.
Zhong Chunjie definitely doesn't want Xifang Tao taking her adoptive father's position. So she stands up to challenge her. The tension between the two women is thick. Just as it looks like a fight is about to break out, Tang Lici arrives.
Everyone is relieved to see him. With Tang Lici on their side, they feel confident they can finally crush the rest of Fengliu Hall.
One Last Loose End
Shen Langhun shows up. He's there to say goodbye to Tang Lici. But before he leaves, he drops some bad news. Chi Yun is missing. He disappeared about two weeks ago while they were out searching for Tang Lici.
Tang Lici tells Shen Langhun not to worry. After he leaves, Tang Lici starts figuring out a plan to find Chi Yun.
