Episode Summary
Xun Weilai and Zhao Youzuo finally reunite after a chaotic chase that ends with Xun Weilai hiding in a dumpster. Three months later, the trio are friends, but their plan hits a snag when Zhao Liao suffers a heart attack. The episode ends with Zhao Youzuo discovering a secret room where Xun Weilai and Zhao Liao have been tracking his entire life.

A Not-So-Secret Late-Night Snack
So, Xun Weilai is still laying low at Zhao Liao’s house. They pass the time by watching Xu Tutu’s eating show. Her fans complain about the bad video quality. Xun Weilai and Zhao Liao just think she’s in the wrong line of work.
Meanwhile, Zhao Youzuo is at home. His mom is thrilled about an acting job she landed. It's only one line, but she’s grateful. He promises her that one day he'll make enough money to fund a movie just for her. It's a sweet moment.
Later that night, Zhao Youzuo is really missing Xun Weilai. He stares at a magazine with him in it. Then he looks out the window and sees someone in Zhao Liao’s clothes. He assumes Zhao Liao is sick and sneaking out. He has no idea who it really is.
The Chase and the Reunion
It’s actually Xun Weilai. He goes to a barbecue place and orders a ton of food. His nice car and good looks get him some attention. But then Zhao Youzuo shows up, still thinking he’s following Zhao Liao.
Xun Weilai completely panics. He jumps out a window to get away. Zhao Youzuo keeps chasing him. Xun Weilai ends up hiding in a dumpster to finally shake him. It's not exactly a graceful escape.
Just when he thinks he’s in the clear, he drives off and nearly runs into Zhao Youzuo again. Zhao Youzuo crashes his bike and falls. Xun Weilai feels bad and gets out of the car to help. Zhao Youzuo is dazed from the fall. He thinks he’s dying. In his confusion, he looks up and thinks he sees Xun Weilai.
Xun Weilai gives him a little tap. That’s when Zhao Youzuo realizes he isn’t hallucinating. It’s really him.
He jumps up and gives Xun Weilai a huge hug. He doesn't even care that Xun Weilai smells like literal garbage. He’s just so happy to see him. Back at Zhao Liao’s place, Zhao Youzuo can’t stop talking about how much he admires Xun Weilai.
Zhao Liao, however, is furious. He chews Xun Weilai out for being so careless. Now Zhao Youzuo knows where they are. He’s worried this will mess up their entire plan and change the timeline.
Three Months, a Doctor, and a Problem
We jump forward three months. The three of them, Zhao Liao, Xun Weilai, and Zhao Youzuo, have become a tight-knit group. Xun Weilai has also been busy. He finally found out where Dr. Yu is.
But there’s a huge problem. He and Zhao Liao don’t have passports. They have no way to leave the country to go find her. They are completely stuck.
Right on cue, Zhao Youzuo shows up. He’s holding three tickets to the Beijing Olympics. He’s so excited for them all to go together. Not wanting to ruin his mood, they agree to go.
We then learn something about Zhao Youzuo's family. His dad, Zhao Donglai, was laid off. The Olympics tickets were his severance pay. He’s feeling lost and worried about the future.
A Health Scare and a Secret Room
On the day they’re supposed to go to the Olympics, Zhao Liao suddenly has a heart attack. They rush him to the hospital. The doctor is not happy. He scolds them for not following up after Zhao Liao had a bad allergic reaction to pineapple. He says Zhao Liao needs to be admitted for treatment.
Of course, this all comes down to money. The hospital needs to be paid. Xun Weilai and Zhao Youzuo try to guess the password to a safe but fail. Zhao Youzuo has no choice but to ask his parents for money. Xun Weilai knows they’re unemployed and feels terrible about it. But his mom doesn't hesitate. She pays the hospital bill right away.
To cut down on costs, Xun Weilai decides to take Zhao Liao home to recover. Just as they get settled, Xiao Xue pops back into this timeline. Xun Weilai hears her voice and acts fast. He moves Zhao Liao out of sight just in time. Xiao Xue finds the room empty and leaves.
And then we get the cliffhanger. Back at his house, Zhao Youzuo accidentally finds a hidden room. He walks inside. The walls are covered with photos of him. There are also papers tracking his every move. He is so scared that he collapses on the floor.
