Episode Summary
Li Heng and Lu Shufen execute a complex plan to root out a traitor and destroy their enemies. They stage a fake internal conflict, allowing Ma San to infiltrate the Advance Team as a double agent. The plan works, leading to a successful raid on the enemy base, though it costs the life of Da Kui. Wang Xiaofei is captured and executed by Shufen at her father's grave.

The Long Con
Wang Xiaofei is desperate. He wants control of the Deqing Society back. He doesn't care how he gets it. He corners Ma San and plays dirty. He threatens Ma San's wife and child. It’s a classic villain move. He thinks he has Ma San under his thumb.
Meanwhile, Lu Shufen is ready to go to war. She wants to raid the Advance Team immediately. She wants blood. Li Heng has to talk her down. He knows her crew isn't ready for trained agents. It would be a slaughter.
Spies and Lies
Li Heng plays it smart. He sends Zhang Yunhu to cause a distraction. Then, he sneaks into the enemy camp with Qingtian. They get lucky. They overhear Wang Xiaofei talking to Lu Wenlu. Wang gets sloppy. He admits he killed Lu Kaide. He also admits he’s just using the Advance Team to get his power back.
Li Heng brings this intel back to Shufen. She grabs her gun. She wants to kill Wang right now. Li Heng stops her again. He points out the obvious. The Deqing Society is full of leaks. They have to clean house before they can attack. They need a plan. They need a show.
The Setup
The next morning, Shufen calls a meeting. She drops the bomb about Wang killing the old boss. The room explodes. Everyone is angry. Except Ma San. He argues with her. It gets heated. Shufen throws him and his men in a cell.
It looks like the group is falling apart.
Later, someone "accidentally" lets Ma San escape. Qingtian chases him but "fails" to catch him. It’s all part of the script. Shufen stays up all night. She talks to Li Heng about his ideals. She likes the idea of everyone living a good life. It reminds her of why the Deqing Society started in the first place.
The Double Cross
Ma San runs straight to the enemy. He offers his loyalty to Sisi. He has conditions, though. He wants Shufen spared. Sisi agrees but demands proof of loyalty. Ma San gives her a tip. He says Shufen and Li Heng will be at Lu Kaide’s grave for a memorial. The base will be empty.
Wang Xiaofei takes the bait. He thinks he’s smart. He warns Sisi that Li Heng might be a communist. Then he takes his men to ambush the road to the graveyard.
The Ambush
The day of the memorial arrives. Li Heng and Shufen head out with a small crew. Da Kui figures out Li Heng is working for the other side. He doesn't care. Li Heng is his brother. He follows him anyway.
Wang Xiaofei waits at the ambush spot. And waits. No one comes.
Back at the enemy base, chaos breaks out. Zhang Yunhu gets the guards drunk. Ma San reveals his true colors. He was never a traitor. He opens the gates. Li Heng and the main force storm in.
Judgment Day
The firefight is brutal. Qingtian gets hit. Da Kui takes a bullet and goes down. He dies fighting. It’s a heavy loss. But they win the day. They capture Wang Xiaofei.
They drag him to Lu Kaide’s grave. Wang is terrified. He tries to bargain. He admits Shen Yihe ordered the hit. It doesn't save him. Shufen raises her gun. She puts a bullet right between his eyes. The old boss is finally avenged.
