Episode Summary
Ma Yongbing reignites the feud with Gun Dayue by delivering a bag of broken locks. Ma Qinghao takes a job with the Via Ferrata project, angering Gun Changpu until Siyue steps in to smooth things over. Long Fengbi discovers she is pregnant but hides potential complications from her husband. The men realize they are all terrified of their wives, while the older generation continues their stubborn rivalry.

Petty Wars and Broken Locks
We start with Ma Yongbing. He walks up to Gun Dayue’s door with a cloth bag. He looks humble. You might think he is there to apologize. Dayue keeps his face cold. He ignores the man completely.
Ye Mei and Gun Changpu come home. They open the bag. It is not a gift. It is a pile of smashed locks. Dayue explodes. He wants to go fight the Ma family right then and there. This was not a peace offering. It was a slap in the face.
The Job Offer
Ma Qinghao is busy chatting with Gun Yueliang. Xiao Baihe interrupts with a phone call. The Via Ferrata project is a mess. Xu Baiyun and the boss are swamped. They need a manager. Baihe wants Qinghao for the job.
Qinghao hesitates. He worries about the homestay. Leaving Gun Changpu to run everything alone seems wrong. Baihe pushes him. She says the project will bring more tourists later. It helps everyone in the long run. Yueliang nods at him. He agrees. Yueliang calls Changpu to break the news. Changpu does not take it well. He screams over the phone.
Secrets and Health Scares
Qinghao tries to recruit Wu Aicao to handle Changpu. Aicao refuses immediately. He knows that is a suicide mission.
We cut to Siyue. She has Long Fengbi’s medical report. There is good news and bad news. Fengbi is pregnant. But she shows signs of a potential miscarriage. She needs to stop running around. She needs rest. Fengbi panics. She calms herself down eventually. She begs Siyue to keep this a secret. She does not want Aicao to worry yet.
Terrible Ideas
Yueliang takes the kids to the river for a sketching session. She watches them smile. Inspiration strikes. She wants to host a fashion show in the farm fields.
She tells Ma Xiumei and Long Fengbi. They hate it. They think it is too "grounded." By that, they mean it looks cheap and tacky.
The Wife Card
Qinghao drags Aicao along to face Changpu. It goes poorly. Changpu is stubborn. He yells at Qinghao. He brings up the past. He calls Qinghao irresponsible for leaving again.
Ye Mei and Luo Xiaolin run into each other outside. It is awkward. Their husbands are at war. But they sit down anyway. They want the kids to be happy. They just want the old men to stop fighting.
Qinghao gives up on Changpu. He complains to Yueliang. She has a plan. She tells him to send in Siyue.
Siyue finds Changpu. She makes the decision for him. Changpu talks big to his friends. But he folds the second his wife speaks. He agrees to everything. Qinghao is thrilled. later, the three men—Qinghao, Aicao, and Changpu—hang out. Aicao mocks Changpu for being scared of his wife. They think about it for a second. They realize they are all exactly the same.
Business Adjustments
Pang Ge looks at the customer feedback. The food tastes good. But the portions are massive. Tourists get full after two dishes. They can't order more.
He sits down with Qinghao and Changpu. They decide to shrink the portions and lower the prices. This lets tourists try more items. It improves the experience.
Meanwhile, Gun Dayue is still petty. He guards the old house all day. He wants to stop Qinghao from seeing his daughter. Ma Yongbing shows up. He claims he is checking on the homestay. Qinghao sees right through him. The old man just wants to see Gun Yueliang.
