Episode Summary
Lele runs away after his grandmother tells him his mom abandoned him, but is found safe at his piano teacher's house. Feng Rui plans to expedite their move to France until he discovers his mother has Alzheimer's, forcing them to stay. Meanwhile, Shu Han realizes she has been scammed out of her life savings by Sun Tiantian.

Grandma Drops a Bomb
Feng Rui’s mother is desperate. She does not want Lele to go to France with his father. She decides to play dirty. She finds a moment to talk to Lele alone. She tells him the truth about his mother. She says his mom did not die. She says his mom actually left for France years ago to pursue her career.
This crushes Lele. He assumes his mother abandoned him. He feels unwanted.
The Morning Panic
Feng Rui makes breakfast the next morning. He calls for Lele. The house is silent. Lele is gone. Feng Rui panics. He calls the school immediately. The teachers haven't seen him. He calls his mother’s house. Lele isn't there either. He checks all the usual spots. The kid is nowhere to be found.
Tan Siting joins the search. She and Feng Rui drive around the city. They are terrified.

Tan Siting sits at home alone. She scrolls through her chat history with Lele. She listens to his old voice messages. She feels conflicted. She doesn't want to disrupt his life. She decides that Lele accepting her as his mom matters less than his peace of mind.
A Change of Plans
Feng Rui finds out his mother caused the drama with Lele. He is angry. He wants to get his son away from her influence. He speeds up the visa application for France. He wants to leave as soon as possible.
He goes to his mother’s house to handle some business. He stumbles upon medical records. His mother has Alzheimer’s disease.

Shu Han’s Financial Ruin
