This episode hits hard right from the start. Tan Siting is standing outside a hospital room, and she looks exhausted. She leans against the cold wall and drifts into a memory. She remembers sitting on the front of her father's bike as a kid. It was raining. She was safe under a clear raincoat. The streetlights blurred through the plastic and looked beautiful. The Last Wish

What Really Happened That Night

We finally get the full story of that terrible night from over a decade ago. The show takes us back. Siting’s father was working late with his apprentice, Shi Wei. Haotian called Shi Wei and told her to bring him some materials. She went down to the parking garage. Haotian forced himself on her.

Siting’s father got worried and followed her down. He saw the assault happening. He pulled out his phone and started recording while trying to stop Haotian. Haotian realized he was being filmed. He panicked. He got out of the car and chased Siting’s father. During the chase, Haotian slipped. He fell from the building and died.

The aftermath was just as tragic. Shi Wei was terrified. She begged Siting’s father not to call the police. She cared about her reputation. But he insisted. He thought the police were the only way to protect her. He made the call. Tragically, the pressure was too much for Shi Wei. She jumped off a building and killed herself shortly after.

The Internet Mob Attacks

Back in the present, the online hate against Tan Siting is out of control. It gets dangerous. Someone doxxes Lele. They post his school and his class information online. Siting sees this and completely breaks down.
