Episode Summary
Ren Jiatong and Jiang Chen survive a work crisis but fail a hidden test of professional communication, resulting in zero scores for all interns. Bai Xiao saves Jiatong from being fired by a vindictive client. Tensions rise among the interns as Yan Fei's wealthy background is revealed. Guo Xiaoyu feels terrible about the video leak incident. She decides to stick around the office to help out. Ren Jiatong sees the guilt on her face. She tells Xiaoyu that nobody blames her. Xiaoyu leaves but comes back shortly after. She brings snacks and coffee for the team. She tells them to get some rest eventually.
Ren Jiatong and Jiang Chen ignore that advice. They pull an all-nighter. They force themselves to stay awake and comb through the documents. Finally, they find the core problem in the agreement. They submit the file to Song Yifan immediately and point out the errors.
They take a breather. Jiang Chen notices Jiatong is still down. She is worried about the fallout from the Nuanchao video. Jiang Chen gives her a reality check. He tells her she didn't do anything wrong. He says she needs to fight for herself. Her world can't just be about law and clients. She needs a life too.

The assessment results come out. The test was actually an old case handled by Song Yifan. He used that case to win a huge contract with Ke'en Company. The point of the test wasn't translation. It was to see if the interns had professional instincts. They found the errors, but they didn't report them to the mentors. The result is brutal. Everyone gets a zero. The scores don't change.
Family Pressure
Jiang Chen approaches Song Yifan privately. He wants to be on Song's team. Song likes the confidence. He suggests Jiang Chen team up with Jiatong.
