Tao Wanwen drops by Yida University to see Cheng Rui. She is on break early. Cheng Rui is jealous of her free time. A campus beauty walks by and asks Cheng Rui to dinner on Saturday. He agrees immediately. This is a rookie mistake. Wanwen’s face drops.

Li Wu finds them right at this awkward moment. Wanwen tries to save face. She hands Li Wu a concert ticket. She winks at him. Li Wu is confused but plays along. He takes the ticket.

Later, Cheng Rui corners Li Wu. He wants to know if Li Wu is secretly meeting Wanwen. Li Wu doesn't hold back. He mocks Cheng Rui for chasing the school beauty while ignoring Wanwen. Cheng Rui knows he messed up. He snatches the concert ticket back from Li Wu.

The Accidental Model

Aoxing Company is in a bind. Their model for a contact lens ad bailed. Cen Jin is stressing out. Li Wu shows up to deliver milk tea. Cen Jin looks at him. She decides he is the new model.

Cen Jin goes home frustrated. She hugs Li Wu. She warns him about the brutal corporate world. She tells him to stay in school. Li Wu disagrees. He wants to work early. He wants to protect her and marry her. This melts her anger. She smiles. He carries her to the sofa and makes soup.

Cen Jin meets her friend Chun Chang for food. She admits she wants to quit. She wants to start her own MCN company. She is tired of being replaceable. She needs to build contacts first.

Li Wu is studying at the library. He video calls Cen Jin. The same campus beauty from before hits on him. Li Wu shuts it down fast. He tells her he is on the line with his girlfriend.
