Episode Summary
Li Wu and his company finally catch a break with a government bid and a potential big investor. Chun Chang introduces Shen Yiyang to her mom after a failed camping trip, but clashes with her over marriage pressure. Cen Jin helps Li Wu get a new suit for his big presentation. The episode ends on a high note when Cen Jin posts a couple's photo on social media, officially going public with their relationship.

The Morning After
Li Wu wakes up to a much better vibe than the night before. Cen Jin is in the living room making soup. It’s domestic and sweet. He worries about her mom, but Cen Jin shuts that down. Her mom packed up and left because she couldn't win the argument. Cen Jin tells him to relax. Her support is the only reason he is keeping it together right now.
Business and Rejection
The work grind is still brutal. Li Wu and Cheng Rui meet with investors, but nobody bites. Cheng Rui starts complaining. Li Wu stays calm, mostly because Cen Jin talked some sense into him earlier.
Then they get a lifeline. Shen Yiyang calls with a tip. The Yi City Environmental Bureau is looking for a specific eco-project. It’s a public bid. He already pitched Tongchen’s cloud system to them. He tells Li Wu to get his paperwork ready.
Back at the office, Tao Wanwen shows up for an interview. It’s good PR for the company. Cheng Rui dodges the spotlight to avoid gossip. He makes Li Wu do the talking. Cheng Rui focuses on feeding Tao snacks instead. The female staff watches this with pure jealousy.
Indoor Camping and Mom Drama
Chun Chang skips her cousin’s wedding. She plans to go camping with Shen Yiyang instead. The weather has other plans. It rains, so they improvise. Shen Yiyang brings out a star projector. They set up the tent right in her living room. The atmosphere gets romantic. They crawl inside the tent for some "deep experience."
Of course, the timing is terrible. Chun Chang’s mom comes home early. They scramble to hide the tent.
Her mom spots Shen Yiyang and actually looks pleased. She grills him about his job and family. He answers everything perfectly. Chun Chang kicks him out the second the rain stops.
Later at dinner, the vibe shifts. Her mom pushes for an engagement. Chun Chang says no marriage for at least two years. Her mom drops some outdated comments about women losing value as they age. Chun Chang snaps. She hates that feudal mindset. She complains that her mom never cared about her growing up. She feels guilty immediately after saying it, though.
The Big Break
Shengcan Company takes on a new project. It’s a jewelry marketing campaign for a sub-line. It’s risky. If they mess up, it hurts the main brand. Shen Yun thinks it’s too hard. Cen Jin sees potential. She takes the job. She and Shen Yun work late at home. It feels just like the old days when Li Wu was doing homework in the background.
Things are looking up for Tongchen too. They file the lawsuit against the old partner. They submit the bid for the government project. Cheng Rui wants to drink to celebrate. Everyone else is busy dating. He ends up calling Tao Wanwen to go ring shopping.
Li Wu and Cen Jin finally get a break. They hit a bakery. The shop has a Polaroid service. They take a photo. Li Wu kisses her hair in the shot. It’s a great picture.
The Makeover
News comes in. Tongchen passed the initial screening for the environment project. They are ranked first. Cheng Rui is ready to feast. Tao Wanwen brings even better news. Her interview segment aired. A contact at "Xinshang Venture Capital" wants an intro. That is a huge firm.
They have a second round of bidding coming up. Li Wu has to present. Tao points out that Li Wu dresses like a slob. He needs to look the part.
Cen Jin takes him shopping. She picks out a trendy suit. He wears it the next day and actually turns heads. The meeting is a success.
Official Status
Li Wu and Cheng Rui rush to tell their girlfriends the good news. Cen Jin is happy. She says she has a gift for him.
Back at the office, Cheng Rui checks his phone. He tells Li Wu to look at WeChat. Cen Jin posted the Polaroid from the bakery on her Moments. Li Wu freezes. She announced their relationship to the world. He isn't a secret anymore. He can finally stand by her side without hiding.
