Episode Summary
Jin Chao and Jiang Mu share intimate moments at home, realizing their feelings are shifting from childhood friendship to romance. Lin Sui challenges Jin Chao to a race for the right to spend New Year's with Jiang Mu, but Jin Chao wins using his delivery driver skills. The episode culminates with a romantic beach trip where Jiang Mu sings a love song to Jin Chao, and he secretly wishes for them to be together forever.

Domestic Bliss and Pillow Fights
We start things off with some serious domestic vibes. Jiang Mu just finished her shower. She demands Jin Chao blow-dry her hair. Then she demands water. She is really pushing her luck. Jin Chao laughs and asks how she expects to get married with that attitude. Jiang Mu claims she is gentle, virtuous, and understanding. Jin Chao thinks she is delusional.
She throws a pillow at his face. He sighs and adds "violent" to her list of traits. He tells her to stop ruining other people's lives. Jiang Mu gets right in his face. She whispers that she only plans on ruining his life. That shuts him up.
The mood shifts. Jiang Mu asks about his parents' divorce. Jin Chao opens up. The final straw was a few potted plants. His father, Jin Qiang, smashed Jiang Yinhan’s favorite plants. Jiang Mu wonders if marriage is just naturally unhappy. Jin Chao disagrees. He thinks it failed because they weren't firm enough. Love can handle anything if you are determined.
Later, Jin Chao sits in the living room. He can’t get Jiang Mu out of his head. She isn't the little kid he grew up with anymore. They are adults now. He knows they can't just lay around together innocently like before. He has tried to ignore his feelings. It isn't working. He decides he wants to spend New Year's Eve with her. Jiang Mu starts sleep-talking about a gift for him. Jin Chao smiles and pats her head. He likes whatever she gives him.
The Race for the New Year
Lin Sui is back to causing trouble. He tells Liang Yanfeng to send a video to Jin Chao. It works immediately. Jin Chao calls him. He warns Lin Sui to stay away from Jiang Mu. Lin Sui uses this jealousy to his advantage. He proposes a race. The winner gets to celebrate the New Year with Jiang Mu. The loser has to back off. Jin Chao agrees.
They hit the road. They chat about car specs while driving. Lin Sui plays dirty. His people try to block Jin Chao with a rickshaw. They underestimate Jin Chao’s experience as a delivery driver. He dodges it easily. He catches up to Lin Sui in no time.
They reach the mountain road. It’s neck and neck. Jin Chao remembers his father’s advice. He takes the lead on a curve. He decides to guide Lin Sui down the mountain. He takes his usual delivery route. Lin Sui doesn't know the terrain. He falls behind. Suddenly, a local auntie splashes a basin of water right on Lin Sui’s windshield. Jin Chao laughs. She does that every morning at seven sharp.
Beachside Confessions
They hit the highway. Jin Chao pulls a drift maneuver around a truck. It scares Lin Sui. Lin Sui yells at him later. He says it was disrespectful to safety. This isn't a racetrack. Jin Chao admits he was impulsive. Lin Sui actually respects the skill though. He invites Jin Chao to join his team for a race in France. Jin Chao turns him down. He plans to quit racing once he finishes his current business.
Jiang Mu spots Jin Chao at the event venue. She goes on stage. She sings "The Moon Represents My Heart" just for him. Jin Chao watches her from the crowd. It feels like they are the only two people there.
He drives her to the beach afterward. Jiang Mu asks about his usual New Year traditions. He says he usually forgets to celebrate. He asks what she wants for a gift. She runs to the water. She yells her wish to the ocean. She wants the person in her heart to understand her song. She wants to be his moon forever. Jin Chao pretends the wind was too loud. He didn't hear her. Jiang Mu doesn't back down. She sings the song again right next to his ear.
A Secret Project
Jiang Mu asks for Jin Chao’s wish. He says he hasn't thought about it. They wait for a meteor shower. Jiang Mu falls asleep before it starts. A meteor streaks across the sky. Jin Chao makes his wish. He wishes for "Zhao Zhao Mu Mu." It means morning and evening, but it also combines their names. He wishes they never separate.
Elsewhere, Jiang Mu does some digging. She asks Zhang Fan about Jin Chao. Zhang Fan spills the beans. He gave Jin Chao structural blueprints for a car. His brother works at a factory and got them for him. Jin Chao is definitely building something.
