Episode Summary
Kevin recovers but has amnesia regarding the day of his accident, thwarting Zhuang Xu's questions. Nie Xiguang and Lin Yusen enjoy their new relationship with a food tour and a romantic moment at the train station. They attend a university lecture together where Lin Yusen sports a youthful haircut and they bond over industry insights. Back at work, Xiguang confirms to her colleague Yin Jie that she and Lin Yusen are officially a couple.

Kevin's Memory Gap
Kevin is finally recovering. He is almost back to full health. Zhuang Xu and a few colleagues go to the hospital to see him. Kevin’s mom is extremely grateful. She specifically thanks Lin Yusen. His quick thinking saved Kevin from a much worse outcome. She steps out to buy food. This leaves the guys alone. Zhuang Xu wastes no time. He asks Kevin a specific question. He wants to know if Kevin heard Lin Yusen pursuing Nie Xiguang right before the accident. Kevin draws a blank. He has spotty memory loss. He remembers nothing from that day. Zhuang Xu hits a dead end.
The Food Tour
Nie Xiguang takes Lin Yusen out for snacks. She calls Jiang Yun. Moms always have a sixth sense. Jiang Yun guesses immediately that she is with Lin Yusen. Xiguang tries to break the news that they are dating. Jiang Yun already figured that out too. They hit a snack street. Lin Yusen remembers he owes Dr. Fang a meal. He calls the doctor. Dr. Fang hears they are together. He knows Lin Yusen got the girl. They try to schedule dinner for the next night. Xiguang mentions she has a lecture to attend first. It will have to be a late dinner.
Lin Yusen also wants to tell Sheng Weiai. It is still night in Switzerland though. The couple buys a ton of food. They share it on an old street. Xiguang texts Jiang Rui. She says she finally found her own "scenery."
Sealed with a Name
They spend the whole day together. Xiguang drops Lin Yusen at the train station that night. He needs to get back to Suzhou. He has to pick her up the next day anyway. Lin Yusen holds out his hand. Xiguang thinks he wants a handshake. That is not it. He asks her to write her name on his palm. He says this marks him as her property.
Xiguang gets home. Jiang Yun is still up. She planned to give her daughter a long lecture. She sees how happy Xiguang looks. She decides to skip the speech. Jiang Yun thinks love is just about luck. Her daughter seems to have good luck. Xiguang mentions the lecture in Suzhou the next day. A colleague booked it. Lin Yusen is tagging along.
Later that night, neither can sleep. They text back and forth. Lin Yusen loves that he can say goodnight to her for real now. Xiguang gives him a tip for tomorrow. She tells him not to dress too maturely. The audience will be mostly students.
The Bowl Cut Incident
They go to the university the next day. Professor Lu Shuanghang is speaking about the photovoltaic industry. Lin Yusen took the fashion advice too seriously. He styled his hair into a bowl cut. Xiguang laughs at him the whole way there. It is graduation season. The hall is packed. They find no seats. They have to sit on the steps in the aisle. Lin Yusen takes off his jacket. He puts it down for Xiguang to sit on. She tries to give him her jacket. He refuses to sit on it. He just hugs it instead.
The lecture is actually good. Xiguang follows Professor Lu’s logic. He says technology is the key to breaking through industry issues. This matches their company's focus. Lin Yusen feels good about the market side too. He just came back from the Northwest. The open land there is perfect for solar panels.
Cafeteria Perks
They decide to eat at the Suzhou University cafeteria. Lin Yusen’s good looks pay off. The cafeteria lady gives him extra ribs. Several girls whisper nearby. They guess he is a teacher. Xiguang plays along. She calls him Teacher Lin. They banter back and forth. Xiguang feels great. She is happy with Lin Yusen. She also sees a bright future for their company. Back at the office, the secret does not last long. Lin Yusen brings a clay figurine gift for Yin Jie. Xiguang cannot stop grinning. Yin Jie presses her for details. Xiguang caves. She admits she is officially dating Lin Yusen.
