Episode Summary
Qin Feng raids a fake ID ring but catches a drug suspect. Zeng Xu and Bian Jing pose as rich buyers to get intel on a cruise ship. Liu Tianye clashes with He Biao during a high-stakes card game on that same ship, drawing suspicion from Qin Feng. Xiaoshuai tries to protect Luo Xiaomei from harassment but gets humiliated, only to later punch He Gang and run off with her, solidifying their relationship.

A Bust and a Catch
We jump back to 2002. Qin Feng is on a mission. He leads a team into a company building with aggressive energy. He expects a major bust. He wants a big case. The reality is disappointing. It is just a ring of people making fake documents. Qin Feng feels let down.
He spots something odd though. One guy looks nervous. The guy sees the police and runs. Qin Feng reacts fast. He chases the man down and arrests him. A search reveals contraband on the suspect. The raid was not a total waste after all.
Old Friends and Big Bluffs
Wen Jiangyan runs into an old schoolmate. It is Zhang Xin. Wen Jiangyan greets her warmly. Zhang Xin recognizes her immediately. She knows Wen Jiangyan is Qin Feng’s sister. They swap contact info to stay in touch.
Zeng Xu and Bian Jing are up to something risky. They head to the seaside. They pose as wealthy investors. Zeng Xu points at a massive luxury cruise ship in the distance. He loudly claims he wants to buy it. The salesman says it is already sold. This rejection is actually useful. Zeng Xu manages to extract some key information from the interaction.
Hard Times for Xiaoshuai
Luo Xiaomei faces trouble at work. A customer harasses her. He tries to force her to drink. Xiaoshuai sees this. He steps in to save her without thinking. This backfires. He Gang steps in and scolds Xiaoshuai. He yells at him for offending a customer.
Luo Xiaomei tries to de-escalate the situation. She agrees to drink with the customer to protect Xiaoshuai. Xiaoshuai feels helpless. He watches the girl he likes get bullied. He can do nothing about it.
They meet for dinner later. Luo Xiaomei pays. She thanks him for trying to help. She is realistic though. She tells him they live in different worlds. She advises him to stick to his delivery job. She wants him to live a safe life.
The Cruise Ship Summit
Qiao Defu signs a contract with Liu Tianye. Liu Tianye takes him to that same cruise ship. Qiao Defu is surprised. He realizes Liu Tianye meets He Biao here often.
Qin Feng and Wen Bo are watching from the shadows. They keep eyes on the ship. They spot Liu Tianye involved in this mess.
Inside the ship, the atmosphere is tense. He Biao and Qiao Defu sit at a card table. Liu Tianye joins them. Liu Tianye and He Biao are clearly at odds. They face off during the game. Neither man backs down.
