In a devastating turn of events, Li Mo's warning is revealed as a ploy to isolate the Male Lead, whose reality is shattered when Chunwen confesses their shared world is an illusion designed to kill him. As Li Mo (in his true form as "Number 2") attempts to destroy the Male Lead's physical body, he is stopped by his father, Fan Jiao Jiao. The episode kicks off with a seemingly urgent warning from Li Mo. He rushes to the Divine Palace, breathlessly reporting that Xuanwei and his followers have trapped Long Yuan at the Jingyun Sect using a powerful formation created by Chunwen.
It is soon revealed that Li Mo is an imposter, the real identity being the enigmatic "Number 2."His entire performance was a ruse to lure everyone away from the Divine Palace, leaving the Male Lead’s vulnerable physical body unguarded.
The Shattered Illusion
Meanwhile, the Male Lead is trapped in an Illusionary Realm with Chunwen, who finally reveals her true intentions. With a triumphant air, she admits the entire scenario was her master plan to force him to give up his protective Spirit Pearl, after which she would kill him.
His mind races back to his memories of Shi Hua (Chunwen's past identity) and their child. Chunwen confirms the gut-wrenching truth: they did have a child together, but the child is long dead.
