Episode Summary
Jia Xiaoduo finds herself trapped in an illusion within a hospital. After a failed attempt to contact Xu Tian, she feigns fainting, leading to a seeming split in her personality. She interacts with Dr. Shi Yiben, who aims to help her overcome her "Tielin personality," though Jia Xiaoduo hopes to reconnect with the "Xu Tian personality." Later, she awakens at home, discovers she has superpowers by jumping off a building unharmed, and then intervenes when Tielin causes trouble at a shop. She pays his damages but a conflict arises when she tries to get her money back. The episode ends with Tielin encountering his mother by a river.

The episode opens with Jia Xiaoduo leaving the hospital, only to realize she's trapped in a disorienting illusion. The patients around her appear vacant, as if ensnared in their own mental prisons, mirroring her own struggles. Despite her desperate attempts to break free from this suffocating reality, invisible shackles hold her fast. Eventually, a group of doctors forcibly confines her to a room. The sound of the door slamming shut unleashes Jia Xiaoduo's terror; she frantically smashes objects and even tries to escape through the window, but to no avail. Feeling utterly alone, she tremblingly calls Xu Tian, but to her surprise, Shi Yiben answers the phone.
Struggling to compose herself amidst a whirlwind of thoughts, Jia Xiaoduo has a sudden idea: feign fainting. She decides to go through with it, and in that moment, something peculiar happens – her personality seems to fracture. One version of her is lively and energetic, exercising with glee; another is methodical, going through the motions of washing up and going to bed; a third sits quietly in a corner, absorbed in a book. A doctor then offers her a pill, promising that taking it will grant her a meeting with Shi Yiben. Jia Xiaoduo reluctantly swallows it, only to be informed that Dr. Shi is on leave the next day. The moment the doctor turns away, she spits out the pill, a cunning glint in her eyes, a new plan already forming.
The following day, sunlight bathes the hospital's outdoor activity area, where patients, like birds freed from a cage, enjoy a moment of liberty, their laughter echoing. Jia Xiaoduo, however, remains in her room, meticulously applying makeup in front of a mirror. She focuses intently, ensuring every detail is perfect, striving to recreate her most authentic everyday appearance. Once her makeup is complete, filled with a mix of apprehension and anticipation, she walks, her steps heavy yet tinged with urgency, into Shi Yiben's therapy room. She feigns a relaxed demeanor, telling Shi Yiben she slept soundly and read many books the previous night. Shi Yiben produces test cards and congratulates her on overcoming the influence of her "fantasy personality." However, he clarifies that the current task is to rid herself of the "Tielin personality." Jia Xiaoduo, however, is filled with hope that Shi Yiben can bring back the "Xu Tian personality" and begins to recount Tielin's painful childhood.
Lying on the hospital bed, Jia Xiaoduo appears calm and compliant, but her mind is a tempest of racing thoughts. Unwittingly, she is once again drawn into the illusion, a world where reality and fantasy intertwine. When she next awakens, she finds herself at home. Confused, she hears a sudden "thump, thump, thump" at the door. She rushes to open it but finds no one there, deepening her bewilderment. Meanwhile, Tielin is causing a ruckus in a shop, apparently a self-staged drama to gain positive reviews. When the police arrive to investigate, the exasperated shopkeeper explains Tielin orchestrated the whole incident.
Later, Jia Xiaoduo stands before a tall building, utterly astonished to discover she possesses an extraordinary ability: she can manipulate objects with her mind. Driven by curiosity, she leaps from the high-rise. Expecting to be shattered by the fall, she instead lands completely unscathed and casually stands up.
Elsewhere, Tielin is being escorted away by the police. Jia Xiaoduo, riding his delivery vehicle, speeds after them and successfully intercepts them on a bridge. Thinking quickly, she claims to be Tielin's older sister and offers to compensate the shopkeeper for the damages. The shopkeeper, swayed by the money, quickly apologizes to Tielin, and the matter is settled on the spot. Afterwards, Jia Xiaoduo asks Tielin to repay her the compensation money. However, her bank card malfunctions. In a desperate bid to retrieve the card, Tielin recklessly ventures into a sewer, triggering a fierce confrontation between them. Later, a dejected Tielin wanders to a riverside, where he unexpectedly finds his mother intently washing clothes.
