Spoiler Alert

An Offer and a Suspicion

Ling Xueying thinks it's time for Fu Yixiao to pack her bags. They found the person who hurt her. The mission in Su Sha should be over. Xueying makes a pretty generous offer. She wants Yixiao to come back with her to Zhengnian Villa. They are sworn sisters, after all. Yixiao could even be a co-leader of the villa. If that's not enough, Xueying's father could adopt her.

Yixiao is grateful for the thought. But she turns her down. She promised Feng Suige she would help him. There's still a traitor to find in Su Sha.

This does not sit well with Xueying. She gets a little suspicious. She straight-up asks if Yixiao has feelings for Feng Suige. She points out that they are practically inseparable now.

A Lead and a Trap

Lu Ke rushes in with a message. Feng Suige needs to see Yixiao right away. He says it's important. Yixiao doesn't hesitate and leaves immediately. They head for the local Dance Hall together. But right outside, Yixiao spots a familiar figure. She tells Suige to go on without her and follows the person alone.

The Dance Hall Confession

Suige goes inside the Dance Hall. He gets lucky. Murong Yao is there for a meeting with a courtesan named Ruyan. Suige uses the opportunity to talk to her himself. He kicks Murong Yao out of the room so he can question her privately.

You know Suige has a way with threats. Ruyan cracks pretty fast. She admits that a Manager Luo from the Changsheng Trading Post paid her to visit the escort agency.

The Deathsworn Camp

Suige finishes his interrogation and comes out. Yixiao is still gone. He starts to worry and goes looking for her.

Meanwhile, Yixiao has been following the mysterious figure. It turns out to be Wu Ying. He leads her to a secret chamber. She walks right in. The place is the old Deathsworn Camp, the assassin training ground. Wu Ying lured her here on purpose. Yixiao was careless. She breathes in a "soft muscle incense" and loses all her strength.

And just like that, the show drops a huge bomb on us. Wu Ying is alive. Xia Jingshi saved him. Yixiao can't believe it. The Deathsworn Camp belongs to Xia Jingshi.

Xia Jingshi's True Colors

The realization hits Yixiao hard. Xia Jingshi has been lying to her from the very beginning. He lied about destroying the camp. He tricked her into being completely loyal to him for years.

Wu Ying isn't there to talk. He lights the oil stored in the chamber. The whole place goes up in flames instantly. Yixiao sees children locked in a cell. She tries to save them but is too weak to move.

Just then, Feng Suige bursts in. He pulls her out of the fire just in time.

Once she's safe, Yixiao tells him everything. Xia Jingshi has been kidnapping young men and women. He turns them into killing machines in his secret camp. She explains that in the camp, you don't control your own life or death. It all makes sense now. This is why Xia Jingshi could come to Su Sha without an army. The Deathsworn Camp is his hidden blade. Yixiao makes a vow. She will destroy that camp, no matter what it takes.

Later, Lu Ke gives Suige an update. Manager Luo is dead. He supposedly drowned in a river ten days ago. This was before they even knew he was a clue. Their enemy is always one step ahead. As for Wu Ying, he and his men were seen leaving the city from the south gate. Suige sends Lu Ke to get Song Cheng to track them.

Suige also has a talk with his sister, Feng Xiyang. They finally clear the air and resolve their misunderstandings. He tells her he just wants her to be happy on her wedding day.

A Wedding and a Wolf

The Royal Alliance

The wedding day arrives. Feng Xiyang formally says goodbye to her parents, the Emperor and Empress. She marries King Zhennan, Xia Jingshi, in a grand ceremony.

Feng Suige keeps his promise to be there. He doesn't go inside the main hall. Instead, he watches his sister's procession from a distance. The marriage alliance is a huge event for the two nations. The sky over Yujing city is filled with fireworks all night.

A Gift Between Friends

With everyone out celebrating, Feng Suige and Fu Yixiao find themselves walking together. They stop at a stall where you can make clay figures.

Yixiao makes a little figure of Feng Suige. Suige, however, makes a wolf. He looks at her and says she's like a wolf. She is clever and perceptive. He gives the clay wolf to her. He tells her it's the first gift he has ever given to a woman. He also says she is not allowed to refuse it.
