This episode is all about love triangles, second chances, and some serious power plays!
Mingmei vs. Qinchang (and Bo Ting's Jealousy):
The episode kicks off with Song Mingmei being her usual competitive self, snagging the parking spot right in front of Qin Chang. The banter between them is flirty, with Song Mingmei teasing Qin Chang about pursuing her. Later, Song Mingmei finds her car blocked by Qin Hao's. Qin Chang delivers late-night snacks, and they discuss Song Mingmei's divorce. Qin Chang confesses he's single, and Song Mingmei basically dares him to try and catch her.
But wait, there's more! Ex-husband Deng Bo Ting is regretting the divorce and suspects something is going on between Song Mingmei and Qin Chang. Ding Zhitong overhears colleagues talking about how Gan Yang commemorates each new product launch with a special pair of shoes, and realizes that the missing pair might signify the arrival of a new love interest. Mr. Wang makes it clear to Gan Yang that he should stay away from Ding Zhitong.
Ding Zhitong and Mr. Wang go on a camping trip, but Ding Zhitong is distracted by memories of Gan Yang. Gan Yang sends her a message inviting her for dinner, but she doesn't reply. Ding Zhitong is torn between her feelings for Gan Yang and the opportunities presented by Mr. Wang.
The episode ends with Gan Yang calling Wang Yi, hoping to arrange an interview at the shooting range that will bring him and Ding Zhitong together. Xu Chenxi confronts Wang Yi, but their conversation is interrupted by the arrival of Yang He. Yang He attacks Wang Yi for hiding Xu Chenxi. Xu Chenxi threatens to call the police, and Yang He leaves. Xu Chenxi is touched by Wang Yi's dedication and realizes how much he cares for him.
