Episode Summary
Gan Yang and Wang Sen's rivalry intensifies, both professionally and romantically, as they fight for Ding Zhitong and control of Langteng. Gan Yang faces a trademark crisis, while Ding Zhitong sees Wang Sen's true colors. Meanwhile, Song Mingmei receives a life-altering diagnosis, and Qin Chang's proposal takes an unexpected turn.

Episode 25 turns up the heat! Gan Yang is playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse, both in business and in love. Wang Sen is proving to be a formidable opponent, willing to play dirty to get what he wants – both professionally and romantically.
The episode kicks off with Gan Yang setting up a little archery date with Ding Zhitong, using Wang Yi as his go-between. He even arranges for a rival shareholder, Liu Dong, to be conveniently late. Meanwhile, another shareholder, Yuan Chao, is scheming with Mr. Wang (Wang Sen) to try and take Gan Yang's position. Yuan Chao points out that Gan Yang's focus isn't just on the "Training Box" project, but also very much on Ding Zhitong.
Things escalate when Wang Sen shows up at the archery range and proposes a ridiculous bet: an archery contest where the loser has to stay away from Ding Zhitong. Gan Yang refuses to gamble with his love life, but during a tense moment, an accident almost happens! An employee goofing around with a bow and arrow nearly hits Ding Zhitong. Gan Yang shoves her out of the way, saving her but losing the contest in the process. Of course, he doesn't regret it for a second.
Wang Sen, not one to give up, whisks Ding Zhitong away under the guise of work, taking her to a night market. He recreates her favorite college-era BBQ stand, shipping the whole operation from her university days to Shanghai. Talk about over the top! Ding Zhitong isn't impressed and leaves without even eating.
Later that night, Ding Zhitong grabs some instant noodles at a convenience store, and guess who shows up? Gan Yang, fresh from a run! He joins her, even grabbing some oden. This reminds Ding Zhitong of their ramen-eating days. They're laughing and connecting when Wang Sen arrives to return Ding Zhitong’s forgotten earphones. He sees the cozy scene and is, understandably, furious.
The next morning, Wang Sen confronts Gan Yang, threatening to destroy Langteng if he doesn't back off from Ding Zhitong. He throws Gan Yang's past debts and vulnerabilities in his face, knowing how much he values his company. Gan Yang stands his ground, declaring he wants both Langteng and Ding Zhitong. The battle lines are officially drawn!
Disaster strikes at Langteng when they discover someone has already registered their trademark. Gan Yang, who's already invested in raw materials, faces a huge financial crisis. He apologizes to the shareholders, but they surprisingly rally behind him, trusting him to fix the situation.
It turns out Wang Yi was supposed to handle the trademark registration but procrastinated. She drowns her sorrows in alcohol, feeling guilty. Gan Yang and Xu Chenxi find her, and a messy drinking session ensues. Xu Chenxi ends up downing three bottles of alcohol to stop Gan Yang and Wang Yi from fighting over the booze. Gan Yang gets an urgent call and leaves Xu Chenxi in Wang Yi's care. While Wang Yi carries a drunken Xu Chenxi home, Xu Chenxi confesses that she doesn't want Wang Yi to be unhappy and that Wang Yi can always confide in her.
Meanwhile, Ding Zhitong confronts Wang Sen about the trademark sabotage, suspecting his involvement. Wang Sen is evasive, but Ding Zhitong sees through his act and quits the "Training Box" project. She leaves Gan Yang a coffee with an encouraging message: "Eat well, run well, everything will pass."
The episode climaxes with Ding Zhitong waking up in a panic, realizing Gan Yang isn't home. She rushes to his apartment, fearing something has happened, and cuts her foot on broken glass in her haste. She frantically pounds on his door, waking the neighbors. Turns out, Gan Yang was just exhausted and fell asleep in the shower!
Gan Yang tends to Ding Zhitong's injury, and she finally sees his apartment. It's a replica of their old shared place, complete with old photos and paper cranes! She makes him ginger tea because he has a cold, and they share a sweet moment.
In a side plot, Song Mingmei and Qin Chang's relationship deepens, and Yulin wants Qin Chang to be her father. However, Song Mingmei receives a devastating diagnosis: breast cancer. Qin Chang proposes to Song Mingmei, but she suddenly feels unwell and rushes to the restroom. In her haste, she drops her bag, and Qin Chang finds her medical report.
