Spoiler Alert

Fang Ye's Whirlwind Romance (Kind Of?)

So, Xia Wanqing is on a mission impossible: find someone for Fang Ye within a month, per Fang Ye's own demand. Her strategy? Cast a very wide net. She basically rounds up a posse of potential dudes, which, understandably, does not sit well with Fang Ye. Fang Ye is furious, basically saying, "If this is the plan, I might as well just hit up a sperm bank!" Classic Fang Ye. Xia Wanqing tries to smooth things over, coaxing her to at least meet the guys waiting outside, but Fang Ye digs her heels in – no meetings.

But then! Plot twist! A guy named Ma Jie shows up, spots Fang Ye, and is immediately intrigued. While Xia Wanqing is momentarily distracted, Ma Jie makes his move and strikes up a conversation. Turns out, these two actually click! Like, really click.

Next thing you know, Fang Ye and Ma Jie march right into the Si Ting Ni agency (looks like our matchmaking hub?) and announce to the entire staff: "Hey everyone, we're a couple now! You can stop looking for matches for us, thanks!" Everyone's jaws are on the floor, totally surprised, but they offer their congratulations. Fang Ye, however, adds a little condition: she needs Xia Wanqing to be available anytime to "witness" their relationship progress. Okay, Fang Ye, whatever that means!

Trouble in Paradise for Xia Wanqing and Zhuo Yue

While Xia Wanqing is dealing with Fang Ye's drama, her own home life is hitting the rocks. She gets home to find her husband, Zhuo Yue, has made dinner, but the mood is tense. Zhuo Yue is dead set on getting a divorce. His reasoning? He feels like he's dragging Xia Wanqing down and doesn't want to be a burden. But Xia Wanqing isn't having it. For her, Zhuo Yue is the home; without him, it falls apart. She refuses to sign anything or agree to the split. Oof.

The World's Most Awkward Double Date?

Later, Xia Wanqing ropes Feng Qingming into chaperoning (or maybe just awkwardly observing?) a "date" between the newly minted couple, Fang Ye and Ma Jie. And let me tell you, Fang Ye and Ma Jie are... practical. They're already hashing out the logistics: who pays rent depending on whose apartment they stay in, and even scheduling how often they need to get busy specifically for baby-making purposes. You can just imagine Xia Wanqing and Feng Qingming sitting there, trying desperately to look anywhere else. Talk about awkward!

Matchmaking Challenges at Si Ting Ni

Meanwhile, back at the Si Ting Ni office, a new challenge arrives in the form of Zheng Yunfeng's parents. They're sweet, down-to-earth folks from the countryside, desperately trying to find a wife for their son. Zheng Yunfeng is described as good-looking and runs his own bakery, but there's a catch: he's deaf-mute, which makes finding a match difficult.

The parents are clearly worried and have scraped together 5,000 yuan in cash for the agency fee. Problem is, Si Ting Ni's cheapest package is 8,000 yuan. Major awkward moment. Thankfully, Qin Tianyue steps in smoothly, mentioning a special promotion with a 4,000 yuan option, saving the day (and the parents' dignity).

But then comes the parents' one non-negotiable requirement for their son's future wife: she must be able-bodied ("jian quan ren" - meaning without disabilities). This hard-line stance clearly takes Qin Tianyue aback.

Later, Qin Tianyue visits Zheng Yunfeng at his bakery to introduce herself and explain why she's there. Zheng Yunfeng politely agrees to go along with his parents' wishes, but Qin Tianyue notices his eyes keep drifting towards a female employee working nearby. Hmm, Qin Tianyue definitely picks up on that vibe. Unfortunately, the initial search isn't promising; Feng Qingming and Qin Tianyue reach out to several potential matches, but none of the women are willing to meet Zheng Yunfeng.

Office Drama and Smelly Noodles

And in a final bit of office drama, Ye Lang decides it's a great idea to cook Luosifen (that infamous, pungent river snail noodle dish) right there in the Si Ting Ni office. Li Lefan is, predictably, grossed out and completely unimpressed. Ye Lang just brushes it off, saying they don't appreciate fine cuisine.

Just then, a potential client walks in, immediately hit by the... unique aroma. Ye Lang apologizes profusely, but surprise! The client loves Luosifen! They bond over the smelly noodles, and Ye Lang even invites him to share, probably hoping to seal the deal. And here's the kicker: after finishing the noodles, the client spots Li Lefan and insists that she, not Ye Lang, must be his matchmaking consultant. You can just picture Ye Lang's face – utterly exasperated after sharing her beloved, stinky noodles only to lose the client to Li Lefan. Oh, the irony!
