Episode Summary

This episode throws our characters into a whirlwind of revelations, confrontations, and irreversible decisions. The Secret Life of a Super Dad
The episode kicks off with a humorous power shift between Xu Kaixin and Mei Chengyi. Kaixin stumbles upon Chengyi's hidden identity: he is the administrator of a popular online group for mothers and babies. Seeing an opportunity, she immediately demands he use his influence to promote her business. When he hesitates, she playfully threatens to add more "sessions" to their contractual agreement—a clear reference to intimate encounters. Worried about his bad back, the hilariously outmaneuvered Chengyi has no choice but to agree.
A Desperate Chase
Meanwhile, Qian Hao is growing desperate to find Kaixin's new address. He first tries to get the information from their daughter, Dami, at her school, but Dami honors her promise to her mother and refuses to say a word. Undeterred, Qian Hao later spots Dami and Sister Lili and begins tailing their bus. However, his surveillance is cut short by a phone call from Xia Chungeng, who delivers a non-negotiable order: get to the Civil Affairs Bureau with Hu Xiaojiao to process their divorce. The interruption costs him precious minutes, and he loses track of the bus.
The End of an Era
At the Civil Affairs Bureau, Qian Hao and Hu Xiaojiao officially begin their mandatory 30-day divorce cooling-off period, after which their separation will be final. In a poignant and bittersweet moment, Hu Xiaojiao grants Qian Hao one last request, performing a beautiful, solitary dance for him on a nearby lawn—a final, graceful farewell to their shared past.
In a separate storyline, a medical emergency unfolds when Youyou's parents find Hu Pei collapsed on a bus and help rush him to the hospital. This forces Youyou to cut her vacation short and return to her job at the Yongshou Memorial Park to cover for her hospitalized colleague.
Confrontation and a Painful Past
Later, Qian Hao waits for Kaixin outside Dami's school. Seeing that he's calm, she agrees to talk, but she is no longer the pushover he once knew. When he starts to blame her, Kaixin fiercely pushes back, dredging up painful memories of the past. She reminds him of how he and his mother, Qin Sulan, treated her with disgust during her pregnancy. She recounts the moment Qin Sulan walked out of the hospital upon learning Dami was a girl and then feigned illness to avoid helping during Kaixin's entire postpartum confinement. Kaixin makes it clear she has forgotten nothing. When his initial approach fails, Qian Hao presents a second proposal, which, to his surprise, Kaixin readily agrees to, suggesting they go to the notary office immediately.
New Threats Emerge
As some doors close, other, more dangerous ones open. Mei Chengyi returns to work after his leave, only to walk into a trap. His subordinate, Jia Haoren, has been turned by the ambitious President Li and is secretly arranging for a client to meet with Li instead of Chengyi.
Simultaneously, a scammer, who was previously outwitted by Xia Chunyan (she managed to get her 5,000 yuan back and blocked him), is seething and looking for revenge. The scammer sets his sights on a new, vulnerable target: Qian Hao. Preoccupied and distressed about his situation with his other child, Xiaomi, Qian Hao carelessly accepts the scammer's friend request, unknowingly stepping into a new snare.
