The episode opens on the day of their official divorce, and Hu Xiaojiao is a wreck. Shattered by the end of her marriage, she can't even bring herself to get out of bed, leaving her friend Xia Chunyan unable to console her. Her ex-husband, Qian Hao, is facing a crisis of his own. He receives a chilling message: a scammer has used AI deepfake technology to create an explicit video of him and is demanding a 300,000 yuan payment to keep it private. The threat of public ruin sends the usually sharp Qian Hao into a panic.
Trapped and with his accounts frozen, Qian Hao tries to contact Hu Xiaojiao for help, only to find she has already blocked him. Cornered, he confesses a desperate plan to his confidante, Qin Sulan: he will quit his job, sell his apartment, and take his and Xu Kaixin's child, Xiaomi, abroad where they can never be found. His escape, however, is now complicated by the blackmailer's deadline. A Sudden Promotion and a Comedic Misunderstanding

During a funeral service, she respectfully bows her head, not realizing the person in the coffin is her mentor. He is laid to rest in his favorite spot in the cemetery, a place where he often sat to play his flute. His loyal dog, Yiersan, stands a silent vigil by the new grave, but Youyou has yet to notice the familiar name carved on the headstone.
