Episode Summary
In this episode, Qiao Guanghui's attempt to set up his friend with Song Guanwang backfires when she accepts him instead. Xu Tian and Shi Diandian's relationship accelerates after a disastrous job interview turns into an exciting adventure. Meanwhile, Xiao Erduo wins over Qiao Mi with a unique and heartfelt date, leading Qiao Mi to confront her disapproving father.

"The Wonderful World" Episode 26 Spoilers
The episode kicks off with Qiao Guanghui arriving at Song Guanwang's apartment, intending to play matchmaker for his friend, Zhao Gang. When he goes upstairs, he finds Song Guanwang has prepared a huge feast. During the meal, she raises a toast and bluntly states that there's nothing between her and Zhao Gang, telling Qiao Guanghui to stop meddling.
Just as Qiao Guanghui is about to present a ring on Zhao Gang's behalf, he hesitates. However, Song Guanwang tells him that a gift, once offered, cannot be taken back. Qiao Guanghui realizes this is her way of accepting him, not Zhao Gang. Overjoyed, he channels his excitement into enthusiastically cleaning her second-floor apartment with a mop. Later, he comes clean to Zhao Gang, who takes the news surprisingly well, admitting he was never really interested in Song Guanwang and that the whole setup was Qiao Guanghui's idea.
Meanwhile, Xu Tian gets some encouragement from a happy, slightly drunk Qiao Guanghui about his own romantic pursuit of Shi Diandian. The next day, Xu Tian follows Shi Diandian as she heads to a job interview. She playfully tricks him on the subway but eventually adds him on WeChat and shares her location. At the interview, Shi Diandian is nervous, so Xu Tian waits outside the glass door for moral support. The interviewer, noticing him, invites him in. Upon learning they've only just met, the interviewer makes an inappropriate advance on Shi Diandian. She reacts instantly, scratching him before fleeing the room. Xu Tian throws a few choice words at the man before catching up with her. Thrilled by the drama, Shi Diandian invites Xu Tian to dinner. Their connection deepens over the meal and a subsequent trip to the supermarket.
In another storyline, Xiao Erduo takes Qiao Mi on a date to an abandoned factory, with a worried Wen Xiaoyao tagging along. The eerie location turns out to be the stage for a surprise private music festival, performed by a band of local homeless singers. Qiao Mi is incredibly moved by the gesture and decides she must introduce Xiao Erduo to her father, Qiao Guanghui. When she gets home, she confronts her father, explaining how serious she is about Xiao Erduo. Realizing his daughter has truly fallen for him, Qiao Guanghui formally expresses his strong disapproval of their relationship.
Elsewhere, at Yang Yun's home, Zhao Gang gives her some career advice. He suggests she should choose between being a dancer and a choreographer, as trying to do both will prevent her from excelling at either. He shares his own difficult experience of leaving the stage, reminding her that sometimes you have to let something go to gain something new.
