Episode Summary
Creative differences over a dance piece lead to a clash between director Zhao Gang and choreographer Yang Yun. After a tense encounter with training center owner Song Guanwang, Zhao Gang injures his ankle and tries to prove a point to Yang Yun by staging an improvisational dance. Meanwhile, the relationship between Wen Xiaoyao and Zhou Tong blossoms as they spend a tender day together, which includes a visit to her mother's grave and a playfully intimate subway ride home.

The Wonderful World Episode 6: Creative Clashes and Budding Romance
A creative disagreement sparks the main conflict in the latest episode. Yang Yun presents her artistic vision for a new dance piece to director Zhao Gang. She argues that the thousand-year bond between the mythological figures Bai Suzhen and Xiao Qing is far more profound than Bai Suzhen's fleeting, decades-long romance with Xu Xian, and she wants to choreograph it herself.A stressed-out Zhao Gang, feeling the pressure of time, dismisses her idea. His day gets worse when he receives a call from Qiao Guanghui, reminding him to teach a class at Song Guanwang's training center. Though annoyed, Zhao Gang reluctantly goes.
Frustrated, Yang Yun takes out her anger on her assistant, Yin Ye, refusing to give her a ride home. Meanwhile, at the training center, Song Guanwang gives Zhao Gang a cold reception. He challenges Zhao Gang to perform a dance to prove his worth as an instructor. Having not warmed up, the older Zhao Gang sprains his ankle mid-performance. Instead of showing concern, Song Guanwang mocks him before having another teacher, Tian Tian, escort him home.
The next day, Zhao Gang arrives at the rehearsal hall in a wheelchair. To prove his point to Yang Yun, he instructs Qiao Mi and Wen Xiaoyao to improvise a dance based on their sisterly bond, hoping to demonstrate that her concept is unworkable. Later, when Qiao Guanghui visits and sees the wheelchair, Zhao Gang accuses him of prioritizing his love life over their friendship before dramatically standing up and walking away, revealing his injury might not be as severe as it seems. Feeling some remorse, Song Guanwang asks Qiao Guanghui to arrange a dinner as an apology.
On the romance front, Zhou Tong regrets his earlier decision and meets Wen Xiaoyao for their planned date to listen to crosstalk at Guangminge.Torn, she ultimately chooses to meet Zhou Tong, who then sweetly offers to accompany her to the cemetery.
While they are together, Qiao Mi finds her father, Qiao Guanghui, and gently tells him that he and Song Guanwang are not a good match, a sentiment Song also shares.
After visiting the grave, Wen Xiaoyao and Zhou Tong's bond deepens. On the way home, she playfully gets her revenge for a previous prank by making him pretend to be blind, using her scarf as a blindfold. On the subway, she instinctively leans her head on his shoulder. He begins to put his arm around her, but they both pull back quickly, flustered by the intimate moment. For Wen Xiaoyao, despite the awkwardness, it marks a very happy day.
