The Big Reveal

So, the episode kicks off right where we left off. Han Xu is completely losing it. He goes straight for Song Tai and starts choking him, yelling about being deceived. Chen Yaxin jumps in to stop him. But then Han Xu just turns and grabs her by the throat. It gets intense fast.

Before he can do any real damage, Wang Jian appears. He's got a syringe. He jabs it into Han Xu's neck, and Han Xu goes down, unconscious. It’s a clean, efficient move. Wang Jian then has a couple of cops stand guard over him.

Song Tai Isn't Who He Says He Is

Now for the main event. Wang Jian, Chen Yaxin, and Song Tai finally sit down for a talk. Song Tai doesn't waste any time. He lays his cards on the table.

His real name is Sucha. He's a high-ranking inspector from headquarters.

It turns out, headquarters suspected a mole inside the local police department. This mole has been protecting Wang Chengming’s massive drug operation. So, they sent Sucha undercover. He took on the identity of "Xiao Wu" to get inside and figure out who the traitor is. He says the mole has to be someone working under Chief Zhou.

Sucha also admits something pretty big. His number one suspect was Wang Jian. But after watching Wang Jian handle the situation and try to help Han Xu, he knows he was wrong.

A New Alliance and a New Problem

The three of them realize they're on the same side. They need to help Han Xu get his memory back. They also need to expose the real mastermind behind everything. So, they decide to form a temporary alliance. Wang Jian and Chen Yaxin look at each other, and without saying much, they agree.

The Warehouse Attack

While they're making their plans, everything goes wrong at the warehouse. A group of masked men storms the place. The two cops guarding Han Xu put up a fight, but they're outnumbered and get stabbed.

Han Xu starts to wake up from the sedative. He sees the masked men standing over him. One of them calls him "Young Master" and says it's time to go home. Then they just grab him and leave.

They speed off in a black car. In a perfect bit of frustrating timing, their car drives right past the car carrying Wang Jian, Sucha, and Chen Yaxin.

Wang Jian Gets Benched

By the time our new alliance gets to the warehouse, it's too late. The guards are seriously injured, and Han Xu is gone. All they can do is get the wounded officers to a hospital.

Wang Jian has to go report this disaster to Chief Zhou. The Chief is beyond angry. He slams his desk and immediately suspends Wang Jian. Permanently. He doesn't stop there. He also threatens to report him to headquarters and pursue criminal charges.

The episode ends with another layer. We see the masked men hand Han Xu over to another, unidentified man.
