Episode Summary
In this episode, Han Xu wakes up to Wang Mingcheng claiming to be his father who placed him as a mole in the police force. While the police team grieves and seeks revenge, a mole within their ranks steals plans for Wang Jian. Wang Mingcheng later admits in a private call that his story to Han Xu was fake, but the amnesia is real, and he needs to unlock information in Han Xu's head before facing his angry business partners.

A Not-So-Happy Family Reunion
So, Han Xu finally wakes up. And who is staring down at him? It’s Wang Mingcheng, looking all gentle and fatherly. It’s a total act. He has his guys untie Han Xu. The second he's free, Han Xu lunges for Wang Mingcheng's throat. He is furious. But Wang Mingcheng is completely calm about the whole thing. He just says he'll tell Han Xu the truth.
The Big Reveal
Here's the story according to Wang Mingcheng. He claims he's Han Xu's real father. He says he planted Han Xu in the Police Department to be his inside man. The plan went sideways when Han Xu got amnesia. Han Xu, obviously, wants to know who the other mole in the department is. Wang Mingcheng dodges the question completely. Instead, he turns around and starts praying to this creepy Rakshasa statue. Real helpful.
Trouble at the Station
Back at the police department, Team Leader Ma is trying to track down Wang Jian. The whole team is on edge. Their colleague Nai Cai is dead and Ba Gong is badly hurt. They want revenge. In the middle of all this, one of the detectives makes a big show of being angry. He "accidentally" knocks over a file cabinet. While everyone is distracted, he steals the team's operational route map. He later hands it off to Wang Jian and Su Cha. The mole isn't a mystery to them, I guess.
A Tense Phone Call
Later, Wang Jian is in a car with Su Cha. He gets a call from Chen Yaxin. She wants to know what's happening. Wang Jian tells her they've confirmed the target and are on their way. Chen Yaxin is clearly worried about Han Xu. She tells Wang Jian he has to bring him back safely. After the call, Su Cha starts teasing Wang Jian about his relationship with Chen Yaxin. He jokes that they sound like a married couple.
Wang Mingcheng's Secrets
Wang Mingcheng is not having a good night. He makes a secure call from his office. We learn that his whole "I'm your father" story to Han Xu was a lie. The amnesia, however, is very real. He says the most important thing is to get whatever is locked inside Han Xu's brain.
After the call, he goes to meet with three business partners. They are not happy. They yell at him for taking their money without delivering the goods. They get pretty insulting. Wang Mingcheng, who was so calm with Han Xu, finally loses his temper.
