An Unholy Alliance
So, the episode kicks off with Dai De Qiao showing up at the hospital. He’s looking for Fang Xin. Wang Qi Xin spots him and immediately confronts him. She wants to know why he framed her husband. He just plays dumb. Chen Li Xue sees Wang Qi Xin losing her cool and pulls her away.
Fang Xin already knew Dai De Qiao hated Ming Lang. She just didn't realize how deep his grudge went. We finally get his full story. He blames the hospital for his sister's death in a medical accident 22 years ago. His brother also died because of doctors he calls scum. He believes Ming Lang should never have existed in the first place.
This is where it gets messy. Dai De Qiao, Wang Qi Xin, and Fang Xin all decide to team up. Their one goal is to destroy Ming Lang.

The Stock Market Bleeds
The new alliance wastes no time. Xing Fang discovers that someone is deliberately driving down Ming Lang's stock price. This makes any chance of a comeback much harder. The loyalists inside Ming Lang are holding onto their stocks. They're waiting for the right moment. But the big investors are clearly just waiting to cash in on the hospital's collapse.

Chen Li Xue is in a meeting when her dad calls. He and her mom are both pressuring her to sell her shares in Ming Lang. She is completely heartbroken by their betrayal. She remembers how kind Wang Jia was to her. She refuses to kick them when they're down.
Family Feuds and Hard Truths
A Sister's Betrayal
Wang Qi Xin goes to confront her sister, Wang Qi Cheng. She finds out Wang Qi Cheng is buying up Ming Lang's stock. Wang Qi Xin feels like everyone has pushed her into this corner. Then, Wang Qi Cheng drops a bomb. She tells Wang Qi Xin that she is the one responsible for Yiqian's death. Wang Qi Xin refuses to accept it.
A Desperate Plea
Wen Yi Jia tries a different approach. She visits Dai De Qiao’s mother and then tries to reason with him. She tells him to stop the attack on Ming Lang. She reminds him how hard everyone has worked to get it this far. He just gets angry. He rants about how the "old guy" gave a false confession to protect Ming Lang. Wen Yi Jia says she will always believe in her father, no matter what. They argue, and it goes nowhere. She looks at the evidence they have. It only proves someone was at a crime scene. It doesn't prove who is guilty. Everyone is starting to panic.
The Final Push
Frozen Assets and a Father's Love
Fang Xin decides it's time for a final, all-out attack. The trio works together to manipulate the stock. But Wang Qi Xin hits a wall. She tries to buy stock, but all her funds are frozen. She confronts Ke Yongcheng. He admits he did it. He says he's protecting their son and doesn't want him dragged into this mess. He can see his son has fallen for a girl and is heartbroken, but he needs to secure his son's future. His words hit Wang Qi Xin hard. She starts to think maybe she's been too selfish, risking everyone's lives for her revenge.
A City in Crisis
Just as the corporate battle heats up, a real crisis hits. Massive floods are devastating Hong Kong. Everyone's attention shifts to rescue efforts. Even Peng Jian Bang shows up at Ming Lang to help. For a moment, everyone is on the same side.
The villains, however, see an opportunity. Dong Yi Yan thinks they are going too far. Wang Qi Xin, Dai De Qiao, and Fang Xin decide to use the city's chaos to make their final move. Her husband asks her if destroying Ming Lang is the only thing that will make her happy. She actually hesitates.

The Crash
Wen Yi Jia has a meeting to get to. She tells Hai Chun to go to his follow-up appointment by himself. The rain is torrential, and she gets stuck in traffic. Then, disaster strikes. She gets into a serious car accident. A school bus overturns, causing a massive pile-up in a tunnel.
The Meeting Comes to a Halt
The news of the accident breaks just as the hostile takeover meeting is about to conclude. The tunnel is blocked, and there's mass panic. Dong Yi Yan doesn't hesitate. She immediately cancels the meeting. She declares that they are doctors first. Saving lives has to come before everything else.
