The Wrong Father
The police bring Yu Nian in for questioning. They show her photos from the scene. She can't see the face clearly, but she knows the clothes. She insists it's not her father.
Then the cops drop a bombshell. They tell Yu Nian her biological father is already dead. The man who raised her is an imposter. Now they want to know everything this fake father has ever done to her.

After thinking it over, Haitang decides to let the house go. She's worried about what kind of trouble her dad will bring next. She doesn't want Tang Yixun to get hurt protecting her.
The Agreement
That night, she confronts Ye Yibo. She tells him she'll only give him the house deed if he signs an agreement cutting all ties with her. He doesn't want to sign at first. But he's desperate for the deed, so he finally agrees. Even though she just gave up her house, Haitang looks relieved. She happily goes home with Tang Yixun.
