Episode Summary
A police tip about a major drug deal leads to a warehouse shootout, but it's a diversion orchestrated by the mysterious Mr. Jiang to expose a traitor, Hua Long. While the police arrest Hua Long and Bing A Dou, the real meeting happens elsewhere. In the aftermath, both the criminals and the police use psychological tactics to turn their new prisoners and uncover moles within their own ranks.

A Blast from the Past
We get a quick look back at a younger Tu Hongjiang. He was on a mission with his partner, Han Weidong. Han Weidong fired a second, fatal shot when he shouldn't have. It was a career-ending mistake. But Han Weidong's family was poor, so Tu Hongjiang took the blame. He did it out of loyalty. His bosses were not pleased. They told him this wasn't something you could just fix by being a good friend.
The Walls Are Closing In
Back in the present, everyone is on edge. The cops and the criminals are all making moves.
San Ma Hu's Paranoia
San Ma Hu gives the Old Chinese Doctor a job. He needs to go meet a man named Qi Lianshan. If it goes well, the doctor can return to his old life. But San Ma Hu is clearly suspicious of everyone. He throws the doctor's prescription into the trash in front of his crew. Then he tells his muscle, Ping Tou, that nobody gets to leave their hideout.
The Cops Get a Lead
Tu Hongjiang gets some new information from Xu Laizi. We learn all about Bing A Dou's messy past. He apparently made a move on a rival boss's wife. San Ma Hu had to step in and save his life. After that, he got together with Bai Tao Hua. It turns out Bai Tao Hua is also connected to that rival boss's death. Her uncle killed him.
The police also dig into Hua Long and Mao Zi.They were factory workers who lost all their money in the stock market. Now, they're back and rich. Zhan Peng has a list of Hua Long's drug distribution contacts.His plan is to leak the list. He thinks this will force the bigger players to make a mistake and reveal themselves.
The Trap Is Sprung
A mysterious caller warns San Ma Hu that his plan has been exposed. He's told to follow a new set of instructions. The police find the doctor's trashed prescription. It confirms a big deal is happening tomorrow. Tu Hongjiang decides he can't miss this chance. He takes a team to the meeting spot.
The Warehouse Ambush
Hua Long is waiting in a warehouse, gun ready. But he's not meeting who he expects. Bing A Dou and Bai Tao Hua show up and attack him. They're trying to kill him. Just as the firefight starts, Tu Hongjiang and his team surround the building. They expected to find San Ma Hu inside, but he's nowhere to be seen. The three fighters try to escape. The police manage to arrest Bing A Dou and Hua Long. Bai Tao Hua gets away by jumping into a river.
The Real Deal
Tu Hongjiang knows something isn't right. The warehouse shootout was a setup. The real meeting was happening somewhere else between San Ma Hu and a man named Sun Ge. This was all orchestrated by a "Mr. Jiang." He wanted to expose Hua Long for acting on his own. With Hua Long now in police custody, Mr. Jiang tells both San Ma Hu and Sun Ge to "clean house." No loose ends.
Cleaning House
Now that the trap has worked, both sides move to contain the damage.
Hua Long Breaks
Zhan Peng interrogates Hua Long, who refuses to talk. But Zhan Peng finds a weakness. Hua Long is worried about what will happen to Mao Zi's mother. Under pressure, Hua Long finally admits that he killed Mao Zi. The police race to the mother's house, but they are too late. She's already gone.
New Suspicions
Bai Tao Hua manages to get back to San Ma Hu's hideout. He's not happy to see her. He accuses her and Bing A Dou of being traitors. As he's grilling her, he gets a text message. The message tells him that the mole in his crew is using prescriptions to send information.
Mind Games
Tu Hongjiang tries to break Bing A Dou in interrogation. When he won't talk, Tu Hongjiang switches tactics. He lies and tells Bing A Dou that the police let Bai Tao Hua escape on purpose. He wants to make him think she's working with the cops. At the same time, San Ma Hu plays it cool after getting the text. He tells Bai Tao Hua to rest, hiding the fact that he now knows who the real mole is.
