Ming Yi learns the Queen abandoned her real son, who is revealed to be Ji Bozai. Ji Bozai uncovers that his adoptive mother, Bo Yulan, abandoned him as a baby out of spite for the Queen. At a public ceremony, Ming Yi exposes Ming Xin's treason with concrete proof, just before Ji Bozai reveals his true identity as the Queen's son. The enraged Divine Lord punishes everyone involved, sentencing Ming Yi to have her powers destroyed and be banished.

So, Ming Yi finally calms down after learning the truth. She asks the Queen what happened to her real son. The Queen tells a story. She says she gave the baby to Bo Yulan for safekeeping. But the child was weak and died on the journey.

This is a massive conspiracy.

At the same time, Bu Xiu digs up some dirt. He finds out that years ago, Bo Yulan was constantly asking about Ji Bozai's location. Ji Bozai connects this to his master's last words. He starts to suspect that Bo Yulan taking him in was no accident.

To get the full story, Ji Bozai unlocks the memory hidden in a portrait. The truth is brutal. He sees it all. Bo Yulan hated the Queen. As revenge, she took him as a baby and just abandoned him in the wilderness. This is how he ended up falling into The Abyss and suffering for so long.

While this is happening, Ming Yi is talking with her father. She puts the pieces together and figures out who Ji Bozai really is. She runs to find him. She suddenly feels a sharp pain through their heart connection. She finds him with tears streaming down his face. The portrait of Bo Yulan bursts into flames and turns to ash.

A Son Confronts His Mother

That night, Ji Bozai goes straight to the Queen. He confronts her alone and confirms his identity. She is wrecked with guilt and grief. She wants to make things right. Ji Bozai isn't interested. He leaves without another word. He then tells Bu Xiu to set a trap. He wants Lady Meng to "rescue" Ming Xin. This will make Ming Xin the perfect bait for his real plan. Bu Xiu gives a serious warning. Ji Bozai must not use the Spirit Vow Well before his powers are fully recovered. If he does, his old condition will return, and this time, it will be permanent.

The Yaoguang Divine Lord is holding a grand ceremony. He's about to officially name Ming Xin the crown prince. Suddenly, Ming Yi returns. She shows up in her full female immortal glory. She starts listing every bad thing the Queen has ever done. Then she pulls out the complete Recording Mirror. It’s the ultimate proof.

She exposes everything. She shows how Ming Xin poisoned their own people so Yaoguang Mountain would fail. She reveals his secret deals with Mu Qibai and the Chasing Water Spirit Continent. Ming Xin loses it. Lady Meng tries to create a distraction by questioning Ming Yi’s bloodline. It's a cheap shot.

But then Ji Bozai walks in. He calmly announces that he is the Queen's true son. The Divine Lord and the entire court are stunned into silence.
