A Doctor with a Trick Up His Sleeve

So, Bai Hehuai finally opens his clinic. He calls it the Divine Physician Hall. Right away, some guy shows up just to cause trouble. He starts loudly questioning who the doctor even is. Bai Hehuai doesn't get rattled. He just looks the guy over and lists off his medical problems. The diagnosis is spot on. The troublemaker's attitude changes immediately. He becomes respectful, and a crowd gathers to see the new doctor.

Su Zhe shows up and complains to Su Changhe. He thinks the opening was way too cheap. His daughter opens a pharmacy, and all she gets are some firecrackers. There isn't even any red cloth for good luck. Later, a group of thugs arrives demanding money. Su Changhe just calmly hands them a bag of coins. These guys were clearly hired to act like patients. They take the cash but still tell everyone what a great doctor Bai Hehuai is. They claim their illnesses already feel halfway cured. Bai Hehuai watches all this. He finally understands what his father meant. Su Changhe is full of dirty tricks.

A New Master for an Old Sword

Su Zhe gives Su Muyu some advice. He tells him to follow his heart. Su Muyu decides he wants to operate under a different identity for a while. Su Changhe plans to go with him. They're going to challenge Unrivaled City.

Over at Unrivaled City, the master Song Yanhu is training his student. He says practicing the sword can be boring. But without it, life has no meaning. He believes he was born to practice the sword. He then pulls out a special sword box. He tries to open it himself but fails. He tells his student that heaven has a plan. The sword must choose its true master before it can be opened.

He lets the student try. The student opens it on the first attempt. Another man, Liu Yunqi, sees this happen. He declares that Unrivaled City will finally live up to its name. Song Yanhu gives his student a new name. From now on, he is Wushuang. The name will represent both the man and the city itself.

Back with our guys, Bai Hehuai spent all his money. He had a sword forged just for Su Muyu. He tells Su Muyu to take this sword, defeat Unrivaled City, and make a name for himself. Su Changhe also prepares to leave. He complains that his family in the Dark River is a total mess. But the problems here are even worse.

The Road to Unrivaled City

Su Muyu arrives at the gates of Unrivaled City. He learns he needs a special item called an Unrivaled Token to get inside. The only way to get one is by gambling.

The people at the gambling den see his new sword. They want it. They tell him he has to bet his most valuable possession. Su Muyu agrees to bet anything. He then suggests a spider fight. The owner thinks this is a strange request. But he's confident his side will win, so he brings out two large spiders. Su Muyu uses something called a White Ghost Pearl and wins the match. The owner realizes Su Muyu is not just some random traveler. He tries to go back on the deal, but Su Muyu isn't having it. He demands to see the person in charge and gets his Unrivaled Token. He doesn't waste any time and heads straight for the city.

Trouble Comes Knocking

Su Changhe is on the road when he gets ambushed. He finds out his most trusted men have been poisoned. He immediately figures out who the traitors are.

Su Muyu reaches the city entrance with his token. The guards there try to give him a hard time. They clearly want to shake him down for money. Su Muyu tells them he is very disappointed in Unrivaled City. He came here with respect and admiration. But all he sees are guards preying on travelers for money. He says the city is a shadow of its former self. It's acting like a common gang with no reputation.

His words make the Eldest Senior Brother furious. He pulls out his spear and challenges Su Muyu to a fight. The other students try to hold him back. They know a fight with him is no small thing. But the Eldest Senior Brother is completely shocked. The man in red, Su Muyu, catches his spear with ease.
