Episode Summary
In this episode, a viral video of Ma Qinghao and Gun Yueliang creates tension with their fathers. Li Jinbao makes a clumsy attempt to court Gun Yueliang, sparking jealousy in both her and Ma Qinghao. The embroiderers land major new orders, and Ma Qinghao's plan to build a B&B runs into a potential obstacle with Gun Yueliang's property.

A Viral Video Causes Chaos
The Honey-Collecting Clip
The embroiderers are completely swamped. They have a ton of orders to fill. They also have to prepare for a big trade show competition. It's a lot of pressure.
Wu Aicao decides he needs Ma Qinghao's help. So he fakes a major injury. He calls Ma Qinghao in a panic, claiming his arm is about to break. Ma Qinghao rushes over and takes him to the hospital. The whole thing is a pretty obvious scheme. Li Siyue sees right through his little act.
But the fake injury has an unexpected upside. Wu Aicao's wife, Long Fengbi, is incredibly worried about him. She starts doting on him, bringing him tea and water. He's really touched by her kindness. He feels like the luckiest guy in the world to have a wife like her.
Meanwhile, a video Ma Qinghao filmed is blowing up online. It shows him and Gun Yueliang collecting honey together. They look really good together. The chemistry is obvious.
The Fathers Are Not Happy
Ma Qinghao's dad, Ma Yongbing, sees the video. He gets so angry he loses a shoe and doesn't even bother to pick it up. He just storms home to confront his son. Other young people in the village also see the video. They start asking Gun Yueliang's brother, Gun Changpu, when the wedding is.
Unfortunately, their father, Gun Dayue, is standing right behind them. He hears that his kids have been hanging out with the Ma family. His face turns black.
Ma Yongbing gets home and immediately lays into Ma Qinghao. He demands that his son delete the video immediately. They're about to have a huge fight. Luckily, Lei Tiantian shows up right at that moment. Ma Qinghao uses her arrival as the perfect excuse to get out of there.
Li Jinbao Makes His Move
A Cringey Proposal
On another front, Li Jinbao tries to win over Gun Yueliang's family. He shows up with gifts. He brings a giant teddy bear and a remote-control car. Gun Changpu is not impressed at all. His younger brother, however, absolutely loves the toys. Li Siyue watches all this and thinks Li Jinbao is a total goofball.
Li Jinbao then goes to chat with Gun Yueliang at her old house. He offers to pay to have the whole place renovated for her. She politely turns him down. He doesn't push it. He figures they can just live at his place after they get married.
So he pivots. He offers to fund her entire embroidery workshop instead. Gun Yueliang explains she just wants a quiet life embroidering at home. Li Jinbao completely misunderstands her. He thinks she wants to be a traditional housewife. He even praises her for being a "virtuous" woman. It's awkward.
Stirring Up Jealousy
Before he leaves, Li Jinbao makes a phone call to Lei Tiantian. He makes sure Gun Yueliang overhears him mention that Lei Tiantian is going to see Ma Qinghao. The comment lands exactly as he intended. Gun Yueliang is clearly upset and jealous.
She isn't the only one feeling that way. Ma Qinghao hears that Li Jinbao went to see Gun Yueliang. He gets jealous, too. He ends up pacing back and forth outside her house. He can't think of a good reason to go in and see her.

Success at the Trade Show
While all this drama unfolds, Wu Aicao finds a sick little calf at the market. He buys it on the spot and starts trying to nurse it back to health in his barn.
The embroiderers have a huge success at the trade show. They kill it. Chen Hong is so impressed that she signs two massive orders on the spot. She specifically requests that Gun Yueliang be the one to design the new patterns.
The B&B Plan Hits a Snag
Ma Qinghao and Jiang Dekai finalize their plans for a new B&B in the village. They don't have all the funding yet. But they decide to get the plans perfect first.
They realize Gun Yueliang's old house is located right in the middle of their planned area. Ma Qinghao decides he needs to survey her property. He wants to make sure the B&B's style doesn't clash with her historic home.
Gun Yueliang hears about the B&B plan. She immediately tells her brother that she will never, ever rent out her old house.
He Shangan knows Ma Qinghao is short on cash. He gives Ma Qinghao all of his savings to help with the project. He says he's doing it to create opportunities for the village's youth. But he also secretly hopes it might push certain people together. He thinks the B&B will create more jobs for everyone in the village.
