The Failed Peace Talk
Xiao Baihe tries her best to talk up Ma Qinghao to Gun Yueliang. She really puts in a good word for him. But Gun Yueliang isn't buying it. She thinks if he really cared, he wouldn't have stayed silent for all those years. It's a fair point. Seeing she's not getting anywhere, Xiao Baihe gives up on convincing Yueliang. She tells Ma Qinghao to deliver the embroidery exhibition plan himself. This could give him a chance to talk to Yueliang alone.
Ma Qinghao is grateful. He also makes sure to explain his relationship with Xu Baiyun. He insists it's just business. He even shows Xiao Baihe his phone with the plans for the rock-climbing project. He asks her to clear up any future misunderstandings. She just laughs and agrees to help.
The Unwanted Bodyguard
The next morning, things get weird. Li Jinbao shows up at Gun Yueliang's house at the crack of dawn. He acts like her personal security guard. He insists on walking her to the embroidery workshop. Once they get there, he doesn't leave. He just sits outside and stares at her. It makes her extremely uncomfortable. She calls Long Fengbi for help to get rid of the guy.

Long Fengbi’s idea of helping is… not great. She calls Ma Qinghao to the scene. The two rivals see each other and the tension is immediate. Ma Qinghao looks ready to throw a punch. All the other embroiderers gather around to watch the drama. Ma Xiumei runs over to break it up. She tells Ma Qinghao to apologize, but he's too stubborn.
Then Li Jinbao does something ridiculous. He grabs his own tie, messes it up, and claims Ma Qinghao hit him. He puts on a big show, acting like he's been seriously wronged.
The Dads Join the Fray
The news travels fast. Gun Yueliang's father, Gun Dayue, arrives with her brother, Gun Changpu. The old man immediately takes Li Jinbao's side. He starts yelling at Ma Qinghao. He brings up how Qinghao hurt Yueliang in the past. He complains about him starting a business with Changpu and bothering Yueliang now. He basically says the village was peaceful until Ma Qinghao came back.
Just as Gun Dayue is really getting worked up, Ma Qinghao's father shows up. Ma Yongbing storms in carrying a giant stick. The two old men start a massive argument right there in the courtyard. They square off like a couple of angry roosters. Everyone rushes to pull them apart.

And what is Gun Yueliang doing during all this chaos? She sits at her embroidery frame. She doesn't stop sewing for a second. She acts as if the entire shouting match has nothing to do with her. It's a total power move.
Shifting Alliances and New Plans
A Father's New Mission
The argument between the two fathers takes a strange turn. They start talking about old times. They remember their friendship from when they were young. Suddenly, all their anger just melts away. Ma Yongbing gets so fired up by Gun Dayue's attitude that he completely changes his mind. He orders his son to win Gun Yueliang back at all costs. He even dubs it the "Chase the Moon Project." Before he leaves, he tells Ma Qinghao to get moving on the plan and marry her.
A Rival's Vow
On the other side, Gun Changpu explains the history between Yueliang and Qinghao to Li Jinbao. He finally understands why Ma Qinghao is so hostile. Li Jinbao is a stubborn guy. He starts talking about his own struggles starting his pepper plantation. He and Gun Changpu find they have a lot in common. They hit it off surprisingly well. Changpu likes him, but she knows you can't force a relationship.
Li Jinbao makes a decision. He says that even if Yueliang rejects him, he's going to make life difficult for Ma Qinghao. He thinks a guy who gave up a woman like Yueliang so easily doesn't deserve a simple path to get her back.
The E-Commerce Scam
In a quick side story, Wu Aicao gets scammed. He goes to what he thinks is an e-commerce training class. He finds out it's been replaced by a class for new mothers. The front desk manager tells him the training people only rented the room for one day. He ends up at the police station with other victims, realizing the whole thing was a scam to steal their money.
The Mountaintop Confession
Back in the main story, Long Fengbi notices Gun Yueliang has been quiet all day. She's worried about her. Then, Yueliang disappears. Everyone panics and starts searching the village for her.
Just then, Xiao Baihe calls Ma Qinghao. She knows where Yueliang went. She's on top of a nearby mountain. Ma Qinghao immediately rushes to find her. He pours his heart out. He asks for one more chance to make things right. He promises he will stay in the village forever to protect her and her family.
